Consequences of Knox topic

As I understand all firmware UBMJ7 and later have the new bootloader with Knox.

After rooting and/or flashing the KnoxWarrantyVoid: is set to 0x1 and this is not reversible.
For European users this may not have consequences because European rules prohibit this void.

But what may be the other consequences?
I've read about other things that are not reversible but I really do not understand.

Once you're on a firmware version you can't flash back to an older one.
(you can't flash back from UBML1 to UBMJ7)
Is that correct?

Does this also mean that you can't flash back an older modem?

Does this mean that OTA never works anymore if you flash to a stock rom?

And what more?

Can someone please inform?
