So I just got the s II from straight talk and tried rooting and fllashing the cynanogen rom for the I1777 because i heard that they were compatible. However when i tried it keps failing because my phones not the I1777.
My question is can i fix this problem and still use my straight talk service i have and still use the apps i have? I am new to the flashing new roms and kernels. i have rooted two other phones, but now i am strating to get the impression that using a straight talk phone might not be the way to go. I mean the only place i can even find my phone in the forems is under the at&t phone. Had the same issue looking for things for the proclaim before it died.
