Can we trick the Store into thinking it is a Windows Phone 8 device? topic

I know this is a long shot: but basically - does anyone know of a way to "trick" a device to display Store apps for a higher version?

What would happen if you tried to run some Windows Phone 8 XAPs on Windows Phone 7?
