Nokia's mysterious Project
X smartphone, which if
rumours are to be believed
will run on the Android OS
seems to be getting more
leaks.
According to the news Nokia Android
smartphone will come with
a dual-core 1Ghz
processor, 4GB of RAM and
a 5 megapixel camera.
Those specifications put the
phone at the lower end of
the market, which seems to
be supported by the claim
that it will come in a range
of colours -- usually a sure
sign of a mass market
product.
In fact, it seems very
similar in specification to
the Windows Phone based
Lumia 520.
The key being that this is
supposedly an Android
smartphone, being released
by a company about to be
bought by Microsoft.
Whether it will be able to
dual-boot into Windows
Phone as well is uncertain,
but Microsoft has been
reportedly talking to other
handset vendors about
such a system, so this could
be a technology prover for
Microsoft to show the
potential.
