Problems with ruu topic

I wanted to ruu back to the 2.06 but I can't load my phone back up. Its able to go to boot loader screen. Should I be able to run the ruu exec from the boot loader screen? Will the exe recognize my phone?

I'm at work and can't try it till I get home.
