[Q] Does Linaro Kernel (Franco Kernel) overclock the phone by default? topic

Now I'm using CM11 with Linaro Kernel r32. I found that its CPU clock speed is higher compared with the original CM kernel. Will this affect the phone's battery life? If so, do I need to underclock it or just to flash back to the original kernel?:confused:
