Fire HD 2013 Internals are the same? topic

I have been told that the new 2013 fire HD, no camera, has the same internals as the 2012 8.9" HD. If so, wouldn't the same boot loader unlocking exploit work? They both have omap 4470's, and the same bootloader/xloader stuff.
