hydro elite apn problems topic

Hi everyone,just wondering if anyone could help figure this out. I have a Kyocera hydro elite thats verizon but they are gsm unlocked, I rooted it, then downloaded sqlite to add tmobiles apns. when I go to settings to pick out an apn nothing is in the list. Under status it says disconnected in the mobile network state.The phone works fine for calls just the data is not working. There is a question mark by the signal bars. Thanks in advance:D
