[I9505][XXUFNB9][4.4.2] *04.03.2014* Samy Deluxe S4 ROM Galaxy S5 Edition (XXUFNB9) topic

This ROM is something I have been working on recently and thought I could share with you. It is a collection of the best elements of different current and upcoming Samsung Galaxy smartphones: Galaxy S4, Galaxy Note 3 apps and some parts of the upcoming Samsung Galaxy S5.

In many ways this is very old-fashioned: it's meant for a daily use with no fancy AROMA installer and tons of options or add ons.

It includes the features I personally like and have tested against usability and stability. I am sure there are many other other great ROMs that allow more choice. In my eyes more option and features don't always lead to a better user experience, so I rather keep things simple. If you are okay with that, you may have found a good ROM with Samy Deluxe.

Acknowledgments &known issues

• Flashing with PhilZ Touch Recovery: “Don’t Allow Old update-binary” ->please remove (X) this option, otherwise flashing the firmware will fail


• FullWipe is recommended when coming from a different ROM


• Some languages for theSamsung keyboard are missing, can be downloaded afterwards


• Make a Nandroid Backup (Including EFS)


• A Wipe data is recommended if you came from an AOSP or 4.2/4.3 based Rom


• You may NOT be able to go back to a stock 4.3 FWs
