I'm still learning the steps (doing everything following an FAQ) and going with baby steps, I've managed to make my first personal rom (XXUENC3) using android kitchen.
The rom is working fine, but I've been looking for ways to update parts of the Android kitchen, mainly SuperSU and busybox, I've already updated smali/baksmali to latest version, and changed the version in (use_this_version.txt) file to the latest one I have (2.0.3) assuming it will tell the program to use this version (based on file naming structure in the kitchen files), also got latest busybox and replaced it.
I'm not sure though about updating supersu, since the version included in the kitchen is old (0.99), and the latest version (1.93) has more files in different locations, I'm trying to understand where things go by reading the update-binary file in supersu flashable zip, but no success yet.
if someone can shed some light, point to a how-to/FAQ that I've missed (I've tried to look, but nothing yet), or is generous enough to take the time to explain to me, that would be much appreciated.
