[Q] Droid Razr M Extracted System.img topic

I've searched the internet for ways to extract a system image but none of these found methods worked. Does anyone have a functional method for doing this? I've tried the ext4 extractor, unaffys and a few other tools and couldn't get them to work. It says the system.img is in an unknown file format.
