[Q] Is CM's "go to sleep" button the same as locking screen using the power button? topic

Does the CM "go to sleep" button from the notification drawer has the same functionality as locking the screen by pressing the power button? Or is "go to sleep" even more hardcore (turning off more processes) etc.?
