Cannot enable nearby devices on a quite a few roms topic

But everybody says it works on those roms. Is there anybody out there that can help me find a solution to my devices problem? I'd be very greatful. I go into settings try to enable it yet it does nothing. *Note I can slide the toggle to on but it just brings itself right back to where it was.
