Dialer slow to respond... topic

I've noticed lately that when I go to dial a number the dialer is slow to accept input. It takes between 1 and 2 seconds to type each number. Anyone else having this problem?

I'm on stock firmware as if it came out of the box and updated to 4.4.2.
