Is purple/red tint an issue with newer HTC One's? topic

I can't really find information about it and to be honest, when I read all this posts I get an impression this camera is flawed in every HTC one device, but it can't be true? Is this issue persists in newer ones as well? Because I pretty much made up my mind about buying this phone until i stumbled upon this problem. Now, LG G2 and it's slow shutter speed looks pretty sweet in comparison :/
