[Q] Poor wifi signal topic

Yesterday I decided to try out the latest android released for our adorable sensations:cowboy:
The problem appeared not unexpectably at all: it wasn't new for me that cm roms have low sensitivity of wifi. Some time ago I found a rom page which discribed how to deal with it, but, unfortunately, I cannot find it again. The wifi radio worked excellent with all Viper roms. Any ideas?
