I recently rooted my galaxy s3 (carried by telus) and today I decided to try to install a linux distro onto it. I downloaded linux deploy, gave it permission with super su and attempted to install debian. I got the message "updating environment ...fail" and the install wouldn't work. I tried several other distros too and had the same issue. Afterward, I went into the supersu log and it said the error was "tmp-mksh: <stdin>[1]: /data/local/linux/bin/linuxdeploy: not found".
I'd really like to find a fix for this and any help is appreciated. Also I'm a bit of a noob when it comes to this sort of thing so try to keep it simple please.
Thanks in advance.
