Unrestricted tether in roms Just doesn't kick in topic

I'd be glad to find out the trick or just how to utilize the unrestricted tether mod in a few noted roms like wicked v5 and darthstalker rom.
So this native unrestricted tether is built into these roms... As a tmobile tethering APN
but... When you switch to it ...it reverts right back to the fast.tmobile.com Lte apn.
What's the method to activate this and make it work or stick
Hot spot activates and connects to all devices but as far as letting the data flow thru it doesn't ..
