WiFi icon not showing up in PoundROM topic

I have just installed the PoundROM 2014/02/04 version. Everything seems to be working fine but I am unable to see a wifi notification in the status bar when wifi is turned on. What am I missing?

p.s searched the forum but couldn't find any satisfactory answer
