[Q] Loop Device Kernel topic

Hi, I am trying to run Kali Linux on my Nexus 5 via Complete Linux Installer. I have root and busybox and everything like that but I do not believe I am running a kernel with loop device compatibility which is required to run the linux alongside android. I am wondering if there are any kernels which currently support this for the Nexus 5.
