wont boot after kernel flash topic

i have been trying for months to find a rom/kernel combo that will give me dpi control and fastcharge usb. every time i find a rom with dpi control, i try to flash the rom and i run into issues. the phone wont boot or it goes haywire and i have to restore to my back up. i just tried flashing bulletproofs 4.4 kernel and my htc one wont boot. is there something else i can do to get this to work. anyone aware of a rom/kernel combo that gives dpi control and fastcharge? and trust me ive scoured the forums and havent found the answer im looking for yet
