Orientation not working topic

I think I must have dropped my phone sometime and ruined the orientation sensor. When I open my camera, it is stuck in panoramic orientation. Toggling screen rotation has no effect whatsoever. On normal home screen, its set at portait and wont rotate. I've download apps that tell you about your sensors such as Android Sensor Box, and it shows that the sensors not responding whether i tilt or shake my phone. Anyone else heard of a problem like this?

I would like to thank Hashcode for CM10.1

and thanks to advice from stunts513 I finally got CM10.1 running on my kindle fire HD 8.9 after a brick scare.

Theres this one issue I cant seem to fix,

Any of the gameloft games I play not keep slipping orientation on me . They are in the landscape mode but it just keeps flipping upside down after every pause/resume or every mission etc. The games worked fine on the kindle before rooting and CM and work fine on my apple devices too.
I havent tried other games yet, I pretty much only play a few gameloft ones and this issue is with every single gameloft game I have.

I tried orientation locker but only works in portrait. Does anyone have an advice how to fix this ?

[Q] Orientation Sensor axis interchanged topic

My orientation sensor suddenly stopped working correctly.
On auto-rotate every app turns 90 degree left of the orientation i'm holding my device.
So i have to turn my device 90 degree to the left and lock rotation to use it properly.
I also checked it with an bubble level app, and there is the same problem. x and y axis are interchanged.

Is this a hardware or software problem?

I'm running Multirom and this Problem persists on new installed roms.
I tried on 4.3 carbon + elementalx kernel / 4.4.2 stock rooted + elementalx kernel/ 4.4.2 purity + stock kernel

Case orientation re: charge while using topic

This is a major pain for me at work. I use this tablet constantly for note taking, sharing network maps, etc. The battery drains a lot during the day so I like to charge and use quite frequently. Sadly, no case that I have seen or used has the kickstand oriented so that the charging port is on top. This makes leaving it in the default kickstand orientation very clumsy for charging the tablet.

Right now I have the Moko slimline case and I love it, except for the above mentioned issue. From what I could tell watching a video review of the Book Cover case, the same issue applies. Has anyone seen or used a case that orients the charging port on the top when in kickstand mode?
