After stock KitKat upgrade attempt stuck in TWRP!? :( topic

Hi,

I really would need some help, think I kind of did a stupid thing yesterday. :crying:

I bought a secondhand LG G2 d802 a few month back and been very happy with it. I live in Singapore and yesterday I remembered that I had read that LG would realse the KitKat update for LG G2 in Singapore in mid March.

I went in under phone settings and serched for LG updates and it was a an upgrade on around 500Mb. I got really exited and started to download it. After it downloaded it restarted the phone but then open up an app called TWRP, and no mater how I try to rebot the phone it always comes back into TWRP.

What i kind of have understood is that my phone was/is rooted and I guess that didn't go well with trying doing a stock upgrade. I have been using stock android 4.2 so not had any custom roms installed.

My question: is there any way to either role back to my prev version (4.2) or install 4.4 without loosing my data (pictures, don't really care about the apps)?

(I have tried to find where the phone downloaded the update to run it through the install feature in TWRP but can't find the zip file. I can't enable the OTG port in TWRP so not sure how I would be able do run another ROM either)

Hope someone can help me!

Thanks,
Sandra
