OTG support topic

Is there a way of giving any Android device OTG support even if it was not manufactured to support OTG.
I have a kobo arc and it does not support OTG, but I would like to be able to connect keyboards, mouses, flash drives etc to it, is there way hoping it does not involve custom roms as I have no idea what Roms would work with my tablet.
