[Q] I can't open the recovery mode topic

I rooted and unlocked bootloader my nexus 5. Now, I wanna install kernel on my nexus 5 but I can't open the recovery mode. I trying to press down volume button and power button for open the bootloader menu then choose the recovery mode but I see an android with an error sign and recovery mode doesn't open. How can I fix this?
