sprint galaxy S4 can't connect with Gsm sim topic

hi i live in Europe and i want only Gsm phone i don't care about cdwa or sprint network.my phone has 4.3 android MDC i made the unlock i found with galaxy s4 flashed and the only thing i manage was to go from ''invalid sim'' to sim connected without network no network.i have root the phone and now running cyanogen 11 but every time i try to choose GSM network i get ''android.phone.stop''.i had also try service menu unlock without success.any idea how can i get it work???should i keep sprint kernel and try to boot samsung i9005 rom??thanks all of you in advance!!!

[Q] Can't Restore Stock Firmware topic

I have a problem for a few days. The story is that I installed Custom ROM and it stop asking for unlock code when I insert a new carrier sim card. Somebody told me to restore to Stock Firmware. I used "KDS Firmware Update" to push Stock Firmware from my PC but when the phone restart to install Stock Firmware, Custom Recovery Mode appear instead of Stock Recovery Mode. As the result, it failed to install.

I'm looking for a way to restore Stock Recovery Mode but I found nothing. Now, I'm asking for someone to tell me how to do it or give me the Stock Recovery Image zip for my LG Optimus G E973.

This is my current build on SN2. Im on a stock rom but Ive rooted it. I want to upgrade to DN3 custom rom (http://forum.xda-developers.com/show....php?t=2541860) but i'm in a bit of a pickle.

in the instructions, it recommends you to have the Galaxy Note 2 N7105 MK5 kernel. Would i have to flash this kernel first? and then follow the instructions for I317M?

because i've done this before and was stuck at the Samsung boot logo. nothing worked so i had to wipe everything off the phone and start from scratch.

This is an old problem, but the causes are so plenty it's a doozy. So here's yet ANOTHER cause of "can't click (Install)" button and its solution.

Any way, just updated to SlimKat. And no, I did NOT have official JB installed before, just official ICS, Safestrap, and had been running on CM10 ever since. But that's not the important issue.

Tried to reinstall some APKs, like Amazon store, some Xposed modules... Except none of them will let me click the INSTALL. And yes, 3rd party apps install is active, and I even turned off verify apps.

All of the previous advice I can find says look for screen filter or brightness apps or overlay buttons. I checked. Ain't got any that's active.

I was using PermissionDog to check anything that uses an overlay and uninstall them one by one, when something hit me (not literally). All of these are overlays of some sort. What overlay did I add recently? Then I looked at my screen, then slapped my forehead... hard.

I had enabled "battery bar" that comes with BatteryMix. This optional bar shows you a horizontal 2 px high bar on the very top that shows you your battery level. That is an overlay!

I turned that off, and voila, I can install APKs again. So let that be a lesson to you. :)

Cant Update or Flash Sprint spark S4 topic

Its been 2 days triyng to flash, unlock (For international usage) and update a Samsung Galaxy S4 Sprint Spark
I haved search and read on the device, and all i can find is the bootloader MK2, or MDL or MCL.
When i look something for S4 Sprint with MK5 i cant find anything, just info telling me thats is android MK5 Triband

Can someone point me at the right Direcction please.

The phone is rooted (Dont know what method) and it has MK5, i want to upgrade to 4.4 with Odin or TWRP

[Q] Can't flash to Custom Rom or Stock... topic

Here's the short and sweet. Went from No OS (by deleting my Internal storage by accident) to now having Viper One 5.8.0 currently on my phone. I had no knowledge of rooting 5 days ago but here I am, and after finally getting the rom successfully on my phone, it now gets as far as starting the process of setting up my phone and then reboots back to the HTC screen. I then decided to just revert back to Stock but my version can't be downgraded i guess? All i get is error code 155 which means i have the wrong version RUU apparently.

At this point I just need help getting my phone to work, I'll take help getting back to stock or Viper One functional...

Relocked (I just locked it trying to get back to stock, im able to lock and unlock at will so no issue there)

Hi XDA.
Recently i've been experiencing a frustrating issue with my Samsung Galaxy S4 i9505. Whenever i try to answer an incoming call (by dragging the green button all the way) the call is not opened, instead it closes. I tried restoring it to default settings and after doing that it works for like a couple of hours or so. I resetted it last night but this morning the problem showed up again.
Any solutions you can think of? Thank you

I have a big problem, i bought a Inew V3 about 3 weeks ago, and evrything worked fine

After a week or so i downloaded mobileuncle tools and just checked around what settings there was. I apparently changed something as i cannot make any calls or take any calls anymore..
I can send and get text SMS though and i can go on the internet aswell

When i try to make a call it says. "Call Forwarding" "On Conditional" and hangs up

I tried to reset the phone, still the same problem

I have also tried to flash another rom, and another sim card, but i still cant make any calls
SIM card works fine in my galaxy s2 with im using right now till i get this phone fixed

Settings on Phone App > Settings > Voice Call Settings > Call Forwarding
Always forward: Disabled
Forward when busy: Disabled


Also posted on another forum but noone could help me

Hi all. I've got an xperia x10a that doesnt turn on. I've read a lot of the other similar threads on this forum, and the go to answer to fix a bricked x10 is "flash stock rom with flashtool". the problem for me is that nothing will flash. it comes up as a different error, depending on the version of flashtool I use, but its generally either
"Error. aborted"

or

"error processing loader.sin"

i've tried multiple kernels and roms. anything I can do?

I have been running [ALEXNDR] XXUENC2 KitKat 4.4.2 / [SM-N9005]CivZ_FlexKat_Rev2.1 and i updated my Bootloader, baseband etc. to XXUENC2.

But some apps arent downloading some things for example files i get send in Whatsapp, attathment files with emails and aptoide isnt loading at all. i have tryed using this SDfix but with no result.

Strange thing is that when i use a aosp rom like Beanstalk or whatever everything works fine.

i really want to use a sam based rom. Does someone know how to fix my problem?

Hi people, well my problem is that I can't unlock mi phoneD: and I want to change my comany so... this happen:
I get my phone like 3 days ago and when I putted my sim (movistar) didn't work because it says that just accept telcel, then I tried to unlock it but I couldn't so I decided to upload to another rom (the first rom was 2.3.6 gingerbread) so I updated it to 4.1.2 JellyBean (The official one, by KIES) ok then I tried it on it, but it doesn't work nethier, it appeared a padlock and the only option was "Dismiss" then I read on internet that didnt work because I have to use a rom unofficial or I mean... a rom that doesn't belong to Telcel (Because when I turned on the phone always appeared the bootogo of telcel) then I uploaded to Kitkat 4.4.2, nightly, being exactly, this one: cm-11-20140324-NIGHTLY-i9100.zip I downloaded it from the official page of cyanogemod, then I installed. When I turned on the phone after install it It appeared and option like the one before, but this time its allowed me to introduce the unlock code, it said "SIM network unlock PIN" BUT I pressed dismiss, and I searched tutorials for unlock it again, but I couldn't D: all the tutorials I found include Galaxy S Unlock, Galaxy Sim Unlock, but any of the tutorials worked, always I restart my phone appeared that message "SIM network unlock PIN". SO..... what can I do?? D: I'm not sure but some tutorials said that I have to change the rom for another one but I want the one I have right now. Please help me :'(

[Q] Can't start my HTC One topic

Hi guys I'm new on this forum and I hope this is the right place to put this thread.

I wanted to try the Cyanogenmod with my HTC One and got it installed and working properly but then I decided that the mod was not for me and I wanted to go back to the normal os, now I dont have any os at all and for some reason I can't start the cyanogenmod again, I have read a lot of threads and guides on how to fix this but I haven't found the right thread for me so I thought I would start my own. I should also mention that I tried a lot of these fixes and probably made the situation worse but I hope I can still fix this.

What do you need to know to possibly help me and what do I need?
And since I'm completely new on everything related to anything please explain things as simple as possible :)

Can't unlock my xperia tipo bootloader topic

i have just flashed orignal .ftf firmware files on my tipo then rooted and installed cwm everything working fine but when i tried to unlock my phone bootloader it gives me error , the earlier two times i was sucesfull but don't know why i cant unlock my phone here's the screenshot all the drivers working properly :(:eek:

[Q] [Help] Cant use custom kernel in Galaxy y duos topic

Last january i search custom rom for galaxy y. I found xduosv2.0 v3 and i flash it. after i update rc2 with iduos kernel my touchscreen is not working. I found stock rom and stock kernel and i flash it . when it boots up the touchscreen is working. This the same when i update firmwate using odin the touchscreen is not working .
Any fix for this? I cant use custom kernel in my duos .
