Successfully flash Xnote? topic

Can someone help me out with the steps to get Xnote to work. I was able to flash it and get it to work, but when I flash BT/WiFi fix I get bootloops. I've tied 3 different times. Suggestions appreciated.

[Q] the X-note rom topic

Hi Note 3 users,
I am planning to buy a Samsung Galaxy Note 3 but i am hesitating between the N9000 (Exynos Octa) or the N9005 (Qualcomm Snapdragon) models. I have been following a ROM called the X-Note rom but i don't find it for the N9000 model, it's only available for the N9005 one. Will the X-Note Rom be available for the N9000 model or is it limited to the N9005 only?

hey guys i was wondering if anyone could help me with installing the latest build of xnote 10.0 for my n9005


i am currently using the xnote 7.0 rom which is 4.3
my baseband is n900AUCUBMJ5
kernel is 3.4.0-1625098 se.infra@SEP-121#1
and my version of xnote is XXUDML2
i currently have safestrap installed as my recovery
i am rooted as well


the xnote note instructions read as the following

So you need a 4.4.2 official firmware already installed, a working KITKAT recovery and ROOT to backup EFS (use chainfire root for KITKAT)

1- Untick reactivation lock in security settings
2- do a EFS backup from your KitKat firmware
3- check the MD5 of your downloaded X-Note zip
4- reboot recovery
5- wipe data (don't do other wipes)
6- install zip and choose the rom in your sd
7- follow aroma, wait for first boot, done.[/SIZE]"

so my question is do i need to follow those instructions in order to flash from the old xnote 7 to xnote 10 and if so where do i find the download link for the 4.4.2 official poland firmware. (will the langauge be in polish) and will it completely wipe my device in any part of this process and do i need to install a different or newer recovery

[Q] Question about xnote custom rom topic

Hello guys,

im quiet new to xda and to rooting as well.
i read, tried to inform myself and then tried rooting and flashing a custom rom becaused i really liked the idea to discover new features, looks and to empower my device.

anywayi rooted my device, backed it up properly and searched for a custom rom where i found xnote Rom and really liked it.
i flashed it with twrp and it works fine i just wonder about a little issue i have now but cant remember if its there from the start (since i flashed it this morning) but i guess it occured after a few and not immediately.
getting finally to the point, on the top left corner of the screen there is a white line just when the display is about to end, i dont know how to explain it better (the old iphone jailbreak (3gs,4) had a similar line in the middle of the screen when booting while the apple logo appeared, if this might help someone to figure out what i actually mean).

i made a screenshot from my homescreen but i doubt its visible from there because of its thinness, i tried to give you and idea of its location with the red arrow though.



i wonder how to fix it ? should i flash again or is it even a well known issue?

[Q] Action Memo of S view in X-Note V7.0 topic

Hi,

I just got my SAV and after installation, the S View works fine. Camera works as it would be, so does the music. But Action Memo in S View doesn't bring up the action memo.

I've tried enable all previously disabled apps and no avail.

Any help/insight is appreciated ;);)
