[Q] SIMLOCK - Xperia Z1 C6903 topic

Hi,

I was trying to install the deodexed version of 4.4.2 Stock rom for my C6903
But it stuck at SONY logo,
so i flashed the older 4.2.2 FTF (C6903_14.1.G.1.534_1276-4314_R2A.ftf)
And now my phone is SIMLOCKED what the hell.
It did not have a simlock before, because in Belgium they don't do that.

Is there a way to get rid of it without unlocking bootloader to get full control of device kernel and ****...

FYI - I have a TA Backup of a working 4.2.2 and also of a working 4.4.2, might that help me getting rid of the simlock?

Thanks in advice :)

[Q] Bootloader unlocked allowed: No. Simlock removed topic

I recently got my Sim-Lock removed from my old Xperia Arc S, and hoped this would solve the Bootloader unlocked allowed: No

Sadly. It didn't change anything. Are there any solutions on what I can do to get this to say Yes?

[Q] SIMLOCK on my sprint HTC One topic

Hi all,

First of all hats off to all the contributors of this site. Really, without you guys, no many people will be wasting money and wandering around for solutions. This site has amazing content.

So, to start with. I have a Sprint HTC One which says SIMLOCK enabled when i switch it on. and when I insert a SIM, it says some UICC code not set something..like that...

I am in India now, and I want to use this phone with the local carriers here.

Here are the details of the phone:
Model No: HTCPN072
UICC ID : Not available
IMSI(UICC) : Not available

After doing initial research on this forum, I understood that, I need to unlock bootloader first, and then root and flash ROM.
when i go to bootloader (press volume down + power button) the first line shows 'unlocked' on the screen. Does it mean , bootloader is unlcoked?? Please confirm.

All I want is to use this phone in India. I found various methods to unlock, root and flash custom ROMs, but I wanted to go with XDA - but unfortunately, when l opened forums for Sprint HTC One, I see lot of posts and threads, and the result is I am lost. I dont know where to start.

I know you would have answered many questions like this, I dont want to waste your time though so point me in right direction by providing links
I would be grateful , if you direct me to the right threads for this. Also please give me links where we have all-at-one-place.

Thanks again.

Telus HTC One - simlock? topic

Hello,

I was wondering if our phone are locked with Telus or if I can go somewhere else? I'm currently S-Off and unlocked, but I know it's not the same as simlock (right?).

Before paying to get the code to unlock my phone (unless there's a way I didn't find to get it myself), I want to be sure it's needed.

Thanks

Samsung S4 Simlock topic

Hello

I have been looking for solution all over the internet. Googling my problem and couldn't find a fix. So here is my story.

I've bought a original Samsung galaxy S4 from Thailand. It worked fine etc. no problems at all (I used my home country sim). When I came back
from my vacation the phone still worked fine until I removed my battery and took my sim card away and but it back on. The phone says no service and imei is null / null.

I have tried the IMEI null / null with Odin, I have rooted my phone, I have downloaded new modem also tried to open it by going system main menu (*#0011#) but it was plain black no numbers or anything. Also I have confirmed that my Samsung is genuine. I suspect that my phone is SIM-/country locked

So the majority of the post that I read were back from 2013 summer so Samsung has propably fixed or patched some of the fixes.

Thanks in advance
