[Q] Kind of Bricked My Device (Nexus 7 3G) topic

So what happened was that I tried to install the update of paranoid android's latest version. Since TWRP cannot install it, I used CWM. All my back-ups are in TWRP so I had no chance to restore. Now, my device is stuck in recovery mode. I could enter the fast boot mode. Now I don't know what to do since all guides in restoration say that I have to enable USB debugging, something impossible in a device which cannot enter the interface.

Unable to install any kind of Android 4.4 ROMs topic

Hello All,

I am currently running PA version 3.99 R2. Previous to that ROM I was running CM11.2.(an. 4.3) I can't for any reason at all get any Android 4.4 ROM to install without there being a failed error in the latest TWRP recovery. This is getting kind of annoying. It would be greatly appreciated if someone could share some insight as to why I can flash ANY ROM before 4.4 with no issues. I have tried CM12, PA 4 (4.4), both fail at the very end of installation. If you need any more info just ask.

I have been running PAC man ROM which is fantastic.

However it keeps saying there is a new nightly update, but every time I click on it I get the message Tyler broke something. I am running build 2013913

I am running 4.3 pacman rom. Is there a newer link to go and download for this. If so please post the link. Have they stopped working on 4.3 versions? Is there a 4.4 out yet? My note is the n7105

My second real concern is that my kernel is 3.0.64-cmG64714068

I'd like to know what better kernel is there out there to be running with pacman and if there is one with fast charge?
Also if there is a more recommended kernel out there please tell me how I go about changing it. I Have CWM and am happy and confident enough to install a zip in recovery.

If anyone could help me above with links to the latest Pacman version and also a better KERNAL and instructions how to change kernels.

Also, what's happened with that website root galaxy note 2 dot com. He hasn't updated in months.

Any help would be greatly appreciated as I'd love to get this note 2 cranking even harder.

Also what's the best performance settings to have this on?

[Q] What kind of RFID tags can the NFC read? topic

This is my first phone with NFC, and I was assuming I could read RFID tags with it. So far, I haven't had much luck. I used the "NFC TagInfo" app and was able to scan my touch-to-pay bus pass, but it didn't recognize any of my other proximity-based cards. That is, when tapping the cards to the phone, the app didn't even respond.

Next, I went around the house looking for items with RFID stickers (I could have sworn I had them all over, but found surprisingly few). I found a book that had one of those flat stickers with the metallic coil antenna and the phone didn't recognize that either. I also tried it on one of those security stickers that are slightly "bumped" out rectangles . I even tried scanning my cat who has one of those RFID capsules implanted for identification, and no luck there either.

Clearly I misunderstood the concepts of NFC and RFID. What types of devices/tags can the NFC on the Moto X interact with?

(PS: I tried attaching images of examples of the different tags I was talking about, but xda won't let me since I'm new)
