Xperia Z1 Compact Stock Email Client (4.3) topic

I've extracted and deodexed the stock email client from Z1 Compact's UK FTF: http://xperia-files.koumakan.jp/apps/SemcEmail.apk

Seems like it has to be installed in /system/app; if there's anyone with rooted 4.3 on T/TX/V and an IMAP4 email account I would greatly appreciate verifying if it indeed works.

The key difference is that Z1 Compact has IMAP IDLE support (push notifications for IMAP4) — “Automatic (push)” in the inbox check frequency options.

Re: issue when connecting with vpn client topic

1. Uninstall your Cisco VPN Client.
2. Download and Install the file WinFix ftp://files.citrix.com/winfix.exe 3. Reboot the computer.
4. Install the DNE Update

ftp://files.citrix.com/dneupdate.msi for 32-bit ftp://files.citrix.com/dneupdate64.msi for 64-bit 5. Install your Cisco VPN Client

6. Restart Computer

LG G2 email client creating duplicated folders on IMAP topic

This is very upsetting. Actually, I'm regreting to have bought the LG G2. Great hardware, stupid software...

The stock email client created new folders in Yahoo IMAP server. This is probably because the dumb developers translated the name of the main IMAP folders to each language the phone supports. So, if the Sent folder is an IMAP standard to put 'sent' emails, the stock client email translated that folder to my language (pt-br) to "Enviados".

Now, when logged on Yahoo Mail using a computer, I have the original "Sent" folder and a new one called "Enviados".

Is there any way to resolve this and still keep the stock email client?
