[Q] newbie question ! customer recovery for 4.4.2? topic




Hey guys,

I know this is kind of answered in alot of different places but nothing is guiding me to the correct files, just want to be safe and figured this was the best place to make sure i hit the bullseye.

Just updated to poland 4.4.2 kitkat and was looking to install a customer recovery so i could grab the latest version of xnote and a few other goodies. Could someone please guide me to a download section/link for cwm? or maybe twrp? which ever would work easiest

[Q] Possible to get AT&T 4.4.2 update on AT&T Moto X without being an AT&T customer? topic




I want to purchase a used AT&T Moto X 16GB from a private seller. I intend to use the Moto X on a 3rd party MVNO pre-paid carrier (H2O Wireless who is owned by ATT).

This is a completely stock ATT Moto X 16GB that currently runs 4.4 where both the BL and sim are locked.

Once ATT releases the official 4.4.2 after the soak testing, how will I be able to update to 4.4.2 without ATT service? Will I have to wait for someone here to hopefully post the official ATT version and then try installing via WiFi?

Or would I download it from here to a PC and then copy it to the Moto X internal storage via fastboot USB and then install via recovery?

I have asked 3 different customer reps at H2O Wireless if their network accesses AT&T's OTA updates and they were clueless. Naturally, that would be the easiest approach but I don't want to depend on them for any future Android updates.

Lg customer service topic




So after hours on the phone getting the run around I could not find a rep that had any idea what the LG G2 Quick Window cover was, and then they tried to tell me it was out if warranty even though the device and accessories haven't even been out for six months. Heck one didn't even know what the G2 was! Is there an advanced support number anyone knows of? They literally have the least knowledge techs I've talked to.

Excellent Customer Service topic




I just wanted to say how impressed I am with Motorola. I ordered a Dev Edition a week ago, so I was a little bummed when I saw they're off until 2/14. I called and told customer service my problem, and they offered a coupon for accessories without any issue whatsoever.

I'm seriously thinking about getting a motorola "M" tattoo, I'm loving what this company is doing.
