So I did a complete wipe in CWM on my Gnex. IMEI is gone and I can't find the nv_data files in /factory. Can I send my Gnex to someone and have them bring back my IMEI?

Fixing generic android laptop? topic
I'm not sure if this is the right section, or event he right forum for this kinda thing.
I was asked by my Cousin to fix his laptop, which turned out to be a generic android laptop. The problem is, it doesn't boot. All the screen shows is black with info on it
It says on the screen:
Android OS: 4.0
Kernel: 3.0.8
Build Number: V1.3.0
The bottom has a sticker which has
CPU: WM 8850 1.5GMHz
Display: 6.98" TFT 800*480
Memory: DDR 512MB
There's hardly any information on it.
Any help would be great, sorry if this is the wrong place for this kind of thing.

[Q] C6906 - Flashing .290 branded to .290 generic topic
Hello,
I recently bricked my Z1 and just got it back from warranty repaired. It is a C6906 that they upgraded to 4.3 (.290) however it is branded to BELL and I wish to flash the unbranded generic so I don't have as much bloatware/fast updates.
Since I do not wish to brick the device again and go through this again and so I am looking for advice to do this in a way that is guaranteed. With flashtool if I flash "C6906 14.2.A.0.290 Generic CA 1276-7484_R2B" would I have any issues at all? Just load up Flashtool - select the ftf and just use the default settings and plug in the Z1 while holding down the volume button.

Generic IMEI now No signal topic
I remember a while back formatting /factory on my Gnex before flashing a ROM. At the time I thought nothing of it. Later I discovered it is a big deal. I left it as it was as the network I was on was working fine. Today it appears the generic IMEI has been blocked by my network. I have seen guides to repair the IMEI, but it appears that my files do not match what the guides say I should be seeing. For example in /data/radio/log/nv.log I only have the following : Tue Jan 21 02:53:47 2014: nv data does not exist (GED)
Tue Jan 21 02:53:47 2014: nv data does not exist
Tue Jan 21 02:53:48 2014: default NV restored
Whereas in /factory I only have a lost+found empty folder.
I hope someone can help me out:crying:
