Its posibble to change the grass with any other?
Can I make it with a friend cutting that?
The touchscreen will work?

Replacement Glass topic

I dropped my G Pro and cracked the front glass. Digitizer and touch controls still work with no issues. Any idea where the best place to buy the replacement screen is? I see a bunch on ebay listed as digitizer and didn't know if I needed that part or just a front glass. Thanks

[Q] [S4] LCD or Glass broken ? topic

Hello ,
two days ago this phone glass broke because it fell on the ground.
I want to know is it the glass that broke ( can repare for 15 euro ) or is it the whole LCD that broke ( 100+ euro to repare )

Everything works , the screen is responsive everywhere. The broken part is on the top right of the phone .
There are also vertical color bars now. When I just start phone they aren't here but after some milisecs they come and change everytime I do something too .

Can I add a Mag Glass Search to my Moto X Soft Keys? topic

I have an unlocked rooted VZ Dev Ed with Xposed and Gravity Box and Ultimate Nav Bar module. But I still can't figure out how to add a magnifying glass to my stock soft keys. Ultimate Nav Bar only seems to give me yet another Nav Bar that pops up when I press the trigger but doesn't replace my existing soft keys. Maybe I'm not setting up Ultimate Nav Bar correctly?


I like having persistent softkeys or at least ones that are easily accessible with a swipe up. (Although swiping up from the bottom seems to trigger Google Now so I set Ultimate Nav bar to be triggered by a press on the right instead of a swipe.)

I prefer the stock softkeys to Ultimate Nav Bar anyway. I did add the three dots menu to my stock softkeys but I would also like to add the magnifying glass for search. Is this possible? If not, how do I completely replace the stock softkeys with Ultimate Navbar?

Yesterday i was taking a photo when i spotted a crack on the picture, i don't know where it came from, I thoroughly verified the glass lens and it's not cracked but i'm asking my self if i should change all the camera module or just the glass lens here is a picture to clarify :

[Q] Battery expanded and broke glass back topic

Before anyone go crazy, it's most likely my fault. Since the battery is superglued to the phone I had to bend it pretty hard when I replaced the screen. And it was probably damaged

Anyway 6 month later my battery expanded and broke the glass back. There is a very visible bulge on the back (~1/16" thick), on a flat surface the phone wobble. I don't know when or how it happened, at some point I got the phone out of my pocket and it was broke.

I have a strong suspicion it happened while using a 2.4A/12V car charger at -25°C.

My real question (TL;DR) : Is there a risk using a 2.4A/12V car charger ? (my previous one was a 1A and it was barely charging the phone)

Cheap glass/ screen replacement topic

Is it just me or does this device have the cheapest glass out of any device youve ever owned? Honestly I feel like blowing on the screen will cause some erosion and scratching. I have around 20 huge scratches while using a case and protecting the thing with my life after 1 months use. Anyone else have this problem? Also is just the front glass replaceable or does the entire screen and digitizer have to be replaced also.

I drop my SP and front glass cracked, it really looks ugly. But display and touch are functioning normally. So, my problem is how to replace it. I saw screen digitizers on ebay can be bought for 25-50 USD, but I read somewhere that it's not possible to replace only digitizer but you need to replace the screen as well. Another problem is, I saw a video on yt where a man bought faulty digitizer for sp on ebay.... So, I don't know what to do?

Permanent smudging (spot) on the glass topic

I just got my S4 and it appears there is smudging around the home button, where my thumb presses it. I don't use a screen protector but this has nothing to do with that. It is like a grease spot that doesn't come off. Anyone have this before? Should I return it?

I have searched these forums and did not find the answer to my question so please excuse my post if you know of a thread that has brought this up already. I'm on 4.3 Verizon

When placing a call or answering one while I put my cheek against the glass and ear it launches the "personalized call sound menu, ie....soft sound, clear sound etc..I have selected OFF, but it keeps popping up....it drives me insane...... Is there any setting that you can tic so nothing comes up when u touch the glass with your ear or cheek? I hope this makes sense. Thanks in advance!

[Q] Glass Theme on ROM MIUI v5 by iHackers /S3 i9300 topic

I've downloaded the rom MIUI v5 by iHackers (Aroma Package) and installed all the apps with the glass theme (transparent) but some of them didnt work such as whatsapp (it says that this version of whatsapp had expire a couple of days ago), hangouts, play store, dropbox, etc... (didnt work at all). So, i decided to update this app so they work and everything works perfect except the glass (transparent) theme was gone on this apps but still works in other apps such as gmail, twitter, etc.

How can i do to make this apps back to glass theme too? thanks in advanced for the help!

Hello. I have managed to scratch my precious S4 screen just after using the phone for a week. Yeah I do have a mild case of OCD (at least what I think is mild :p) considering that I do use a pouch for it I wonder what is the point with all those videos showing off the impressive Gorilla glass x. Of course the second I noticed it I applied a screen protector. So much for Gorilla glass..
