Benchmark results and PC connectivity topic

hi. im kinda new to Lg phones . its infact my first LG phone ever.

first off, i will get something cleared out to all. im disappointed at almost no support from LG! its been a year and still 4.1? no updates what so ever? this was their flagship phone that was primarily focused to compete with Note 2 and even S4 but look where they are now! 4.4 KK!


now to the point of thread, i just got out of misery of soft brick. and just today i got the V5.5 rom of THIS rom.

out of curiosity i downloaded some benchmarks. here are my scores.

after looking at these scores i was like WTF is this??? guys any help, that are these scores NORMAL for LG OGP or is it my device???
i mean my Note 1, i remember, had better scores in Benchmarkpi than this! :eek:

also another problem. i have installed the LG drivers for the mobile in the pc and also lg pc suite is installed. but when i connect this piece of **** to PC, it connects and disconnects continuously. it does not even show up in Computer. even after i have reinstalled the drivers like 6 times, its sitll not connecting. it connects when ever it desires. this phone is real ****. i ****ing hate it now.
pls some one help how to fix this???

ROM upgrade testing - error fixed - results topic

I tried to post this in the CM11 development thread, but it says I haven't posted enough, so I'm going to share it here, hopefully someone will move it.

I spent quite a bit of time trying to install the CM11 update, and encountered various errors. When I tried to go back to 4.2 ROMS, I couldn't get them loaded again either. These were fully clean and formatted installs. The errors (and I'm trying to post them as items people like me search on) include Status 7, symlink error, /sd-ext not found, and various other errors such as no error getting reported, but the blue progress thermometer never moving, then saying installation complete.

What I finally found out was when I followed the instructions in the CM11 update thread, it gave a link to the latest CWM 6.0.4.7 recovery, which I used. I finally went back and tried CWM 6.0.4.5 which worked just fine. There's nothing special nor unusual about my particular phone, and like I said, I wound up doing clean installs eventually, so this might be a fairly common problem that might be getting blamed on the ROMs.

So if someone can share this information either back in the CM11 thread or the CWM thread, it might help someone from throwing their phone through the window.

Hello guys i need an assistance please!

I recently bought this Tablet, and im using it only for studying, so im mainly using the s pen for taking notes, but on the stock rom i dont have many options and tweaks for the pen (like what the button can do). I also dont play games and stuff so maybe reducing cpu power..

I wanna ask is it worthy to root the device and which ROM is good for that (i have ARHD on my HTC device it is great! ), flash a kernel, save some battery life and so on..

Or for these purposes i want it wont make such a difference and i shouldnt bother do all this stuff cuz they wont make a change?

Terrible data speed test results? (Z1s) topic

Am I the only one receiving terrible Internet speeds on speed tests? It seems that my speed is flying on LTE right now but for some reason, speed tests currently have me at (at most) 1 MB/sec download but 10 MB/sec uploads (I don't even know how that happens...).

Are the speed tests just buggy?
