Benchmark results and PC connectivity topic

hi. im kinda new to Lg phones . its infact my first LG phone ever.

first off, i will get something cleared out to all. im disappointed at almost no support from LG! its been a year and still 4.1? no updates what so ever? this was their flagship phone that was primarily focused to compete with Note 2 and even S4 but look where they are now! 4.4 KK!


now to the point of thread, i just got out of misery of soft brick. and just today i got the V5.5 rom of THIS rom.

out of curiosity i downloaded some benchmarks. here are my scores.

after looking at these scores i was like WTF is this??? guys any help, that are these scores NORMAL for LG OGP or is it my device???
i mean my Note 1, i remember, had better scores in Benchmarkpi than this! :eek:

also another problem. i have installed the LG drivers for the mobile in the pc and also lg pc suite is installed. but when i connect this piece of **** to PC, it connects and disconnects continuously. it does not even show up in Computer. even after i have reinstalled the drivers like 6 times, its sitll not connecting. it connects when ever it desires. this phone is real ****. i ****ing hate it now.
pls some one help how to fix this???

KitKat and Data roaming: lost data connectivity notification topic

Hi all,
I'm facing a very disappointing bug with KitKat (installed few days ago): I have a G2 with D80220a-ESA-XX firmware (stock, unrooted) and more and more times during the day a popup reporting "You have lost data connectivity because you left your home network with data roaming turned off" appears. Roaming is disabled on my phone but this popups appears even if data are disabled and if the phone is not really roaming. If data are enabled, a notification with a triangle reporting the same message appears more and more times even if the phone is not roaming. This situation is very frustrating and above all, sometimes when the popup appears, my preferred network is automatically switched from 2G/3G/4G to 2G/3G. With the previous versions of Android this issue never appeared, so I'm here to ask you if somebody also is experiencing the same behaviour and how to report this bug to Google/LG or how to solve it?

[Q] Us Cellular S3 Connectivity Problem topic

Hi all ,

I have the SCH-R530U . Only problem i face is that i cannot receive any international calls or calls with country code prefix... The phone just hangs and restarts it self.
Neither can i receive any international text msgs.I know that my CDMA Sim is ok as i tried it on other devices.
I am using it in India and i am running KK 4.4.2.
Everything else works like a charm .

Is there any solutions plzz ?

I Odin'd the MJ9 radio some time ago and have been able to flash 4.3 custom ROMS based on that radio with no issues at all. The problem comes when I try ANY 4.4 ROM. The ROM and Gapps flash and install with no issue. However, I don't have data or voice connectivity. I'll go into APN settings and it's blank. I've tried manually entering the values, but the changes won't stick. As a point of reference, I'm running the MJ9 radio with TWRP 2.6.3.0 as my recovery.

Ideas?

Hi Guys....

I have gotta new problem :( ....when i connect my Xperia Z to my computer,nothing happens...I hear the notification sound on my computer...but the xperia z drive is not at all showing up...Even the phone is not getting charged when i connect it to my PC(but it is charging when i connect it on USB debugging mode but the drive still doesn't show up)...So i reflashed the android 4.3 ROM...but the problem still exists...pls help me guys...It worked fine before with this ROM and nothing is wrong with the charging cable...Pls help me...pls...

[Q] Lost network connectivity after root topic

I will try and be as detailed as I can, I bought the Note 3 and then went straight home to root it. I figured it wouldn't make much sense to start syncing everything over when I would just have to repeat the process. I downloaded the CF-Auto-Root-hltetmo-hltetmo-smn900t from chainfire. This is the exact process I took to rooting it; I turned my phone off, put it into odin mode by holding vol down home and power. I then launched odin3-v.1.85.exe. My phone was recognized and so I clicked pda and chose the CF-Auto-Root MD5 File. I had auto reboot checked and that was it. Once I hit start it took maybe 20 seconds at most, rebooted my phone and I had root. Once I did that I have only been able to use my phone over WIFI to make calls, texts, etc. I didn't know what to do to fix this so I went into supersu and did a full unroot. As of now my phone does not have root anymore and I am still dealing with the same issues. Any advice, help, suggestions I would greatly appreciate, thanks!!:)

[Q] USB Connectivity Issue on my S4 (i9500) for download mode topic

As the title says, I am having issues getting my laptop and other laptops to detect my S4 (i9500) on download mode. It did work early but now doesn't work. The funny thing is I can transfer data to and from it when it is fully booted.

I have tried:

• Trying on different PC/Laptops.


• Different USB Cables


• Re-installing Samsung USB Drivers


• Re-installing kies.


• Removing and replacing the battery

Current setup:
16GB S4
ROM - MIUI v4.2.14
Android Version - 4.2.2.

Before it was running Stock TouchWiz 4.3, I ran into alot of battery drain issues to I tried hard and downgrade to 4.2.2 and Installed MIUI but I think that download mode is broken. The phone goes to download mode but it cannot be detected in the system or any system. It doesn't even make that USB sound when you plug it in.

Please help me out. Thanks in Advance.

Running PA 4.0+ LG G2 Internet Connectivity problems (solved) topic

I've seen a few people in the official thread created by houstonn on the 4.0+ PA for the G2 having problems where all internet connectivity would cut out. This is a relevant place for my post because it is in a general discussion on PA, I can't post in the official forum because I don't have the required amount of posts on the forum.

I was having that problem but dug around and figured out that Adblock Plus was the problem. While browsing pages in either the stock internet browser or Google Chrome and running into a page that was listed in ABP's ad LINK, all downloads and internet connectivity would stop.

I put the pieces together, not knowing originally that I was visiting pages with high advertisement traffic and tried it with Adblock Plus disabled, I had no internet connectivity problems at all after that.

So if anyone has any elaborations or questions, please post here. I am not sure if this is just a thing for PA 4.0+ Beta 6 or if it has anything to do that I'm running the ART framework. I just want to inform some of the users in the original LG G2 thread for PA 4.0+ that this might be your problem.

connectivity issues topic

The phone keeps switching often between 3G and WIFI both icon comes on at the same time. I have done nothing different since the MK2 update came out. low reception and bouncing in and out.
