I used DN3 v3 for a while and was very happy with it. Now I wanted to install latest version on my n7100, but I get an sd card error everytime. For all other matters, the sd card works perfect without any issues, only when trying to install this rom.

Any ideas about this?

I have the Sprint LG G2 LS980ZV8 running 4.2.2 with kernel version 3.4.0 (all stock). A few months ago I followed some guides for rooting my phone. During the process, I ended up flashing loki and twrp 2.6.3.2. This is as far as I've gotten because shortly afterwards I received an OTA update (it's still pending). For fear of losing root access, I postponed the update indefinitely. I've waited to see if anyone would post a root option under the new update but it seems just flashing a ROM such as pac-man would be easier (or at least quicker).

Now, while following goldflame09's guide, I have downloaded all the necessary files to the appropriate locations, but after factory resetting my phone and trying to extract the .zip file, it says "error executing updater binary in zip" then immediately fails. I have to restore my previous data/system/boot/cache before the phone will successfully system reboot; otherwise, I can only tinker around in TWRP.

I thought maybe updating TWRP to 2.7.0 might solve the issue, but I am new to this so it seemed smarter to ask for advice before meddling around on my own. Does anyone know why I got the "error executing updater binary in zip" message, and if so, how can I avoid this error and continue flashing the ROM?

hi,

i got the international note 2. Now the model number shown in settings is GT-N7100. this should mean that phone is carrier free but when i boot it up, it shows the AT&T logo and it is filled with AT&T bloatware that cannot be uninstalled. i couldnt figure out what this meant so decided to restore it to stock firmware for international note 2.
i read the instructions and did it using Odin but following message shows up after i have selected the PDA and started the process. phone still works fine after this, boots up ok but the basic problem of software is not resolved

[Q] [HTC One, Google Play Edition] (bootloader) [ERR] Command error !!! topic

Hey, everyone:

I recently succesfully unlocked the bootloader and rooted an AT&T HTC One, but am now having trouble with an HTC One, Google Play Edition.

I'm not too sure if it's the same concept, but every time type ./fastboot oem get_indentifier_token, I receieve a (bootloader) [ERR] Command error !!! message. I've read it may have something to do with an outdated HBOOT?

Does anyone have any advice on getting this to work? Should I try from step one?

[Fix] WiFi "Turned off" error when 3G on topic

I've been struggling to solve this problem for a week. Sometimes WiFi and 3G stay connected like below (see the notification bar)

Or sometimes I can't connect to WiFi when I have 3G enabled. It was saying my wireless SSID is "Turned off" like below

I was really mad about this :)
But luckily I found the solution. I'm posting here the fix for others who have the same problem.

hello.i have prestigio multiphone 4055 duo.recently i havent been able to download apps from 1mobile market(uninstalled play store) or from web links.i have the app called clean master and i clear cache every day. i havent got custom rom just root apps like xposed installer and its modules,rom toolbox busybox.
what should i do?
i have 48mb sd space and 850mb internal storage space.

SuperSU binary "Installation Failed" Error Fix topic

This is the scenario that i have encountered during rooting my htc one XL for fun. But i have encountered a problem of SuperSU binary "installation failed" when trying to update the binary.

Here i am going to share the solution that have been tried out accidentically.

Premises:
Device : HTC One XL ( i think other device may also counter this problem too when they trying to root with the ZIp version SuperSU apk.
Device's bootloader is unlocked (HTC required, i dont think samsung need this step)
recovery mode Clockworkmod is installed (i think all devices need this mod in order to install apk in the sd_card)
SuperSU apk is installed in recovery mode by install app in the sd_card

Consequence:
The superSU is installed successfully in the phone, you can see the app located in the home screen.
When you try to click in the app, it prompt it requires to update some binary files of the phone. however it will just return "Installation Failed".
Your root access is not stable.
For example:
You might contain root access by using root browser (on google play)
But you couldn't "su" in the linux terminal emulator (on google play)
Also you couldn't "su" by using android shell in the android sdk tools's .adb shell

Solution:
Below is the steps i performed and it is worked.

1. Update the latest version SuperSU in the google play


2. Afterwards, it will prompt the binary update screen again


3. Choose the Txxx/CWB instead of Normal


4. My device cannot automatically boot up the recovery mode, thus i manually started the recovery mode


5. binary will be updated when you go in recovery mode

Importance Note:
Actually I am not success in point 5 (binary will be updated when you go in recovery mode).
It means that the binary doesn't update when SuperSU is still the latest version (updated on google store).
and if you have also encountered this circumstance. reboot in the phone again, in the latest version of SuperSU, selected update binary by Txxx/CWB, and then uninstall the latest version of SuperSU by normal apps uninstallation (you can never able to uninstall the old version SuperSU in the phone normally because its installed in the recovery mode).

Now you can boot into the Recovery mode, it will update the binary automatically, And you can grant the actual root access for your phone after reboot the phone again.

Ok so i was running the note 2/3 rom I forget what it's called and my phone was randomly rebooting itself. So i wiped everything did a factory reset and went to install my old apps and i kept getting this stupid error when stuff from the market went to install. The same exact apps that were running on the same exact rom. So then i got fed up and wiped everything and installed the sks mk4 rom and I still have the same issue. What is going on with this?

[Q] Battery Calibration error? topic

Hey guys,

For some reason my phone keeps battery-% on some numbers way too long (compared with the day before). I was on 85%, and put it on the charger. 20 minutes later it was on 98%, but another 20 minutes later it was still on 98%. Some time later I found it at 99% and unplugged but the % immediately went down to 98%. I left it overnight to charge 'til 100%. Now the battery-% takes way too long to go down and way too long to charge again.

Suggestions on how to solve this?

I am looking to find the statistical significance between two large netCDF data sets.

Firstly I've loaded the two files into python:

ROM Installation error topic

A few months ago I install a ROM called ROM-V4.0 Xperia Z in a ST15i of my girlfriend but she wanted KitKat, so I downloaded 2 ROM (Carbon, VanirAOSP) but none worked, for some reason I do not know why recovery tells me the phone model is not correct.
I tried to install from a clean ROM .587 (tft, root, xparts, cwm) but still does not work.

I want to know if someone else has happened, or if anyone knows how to solve this problem

[Q] Nvram error and IMEI error topic

Whenever i flash a new rom my wifi shows Nvram error and my IMEI gets erased and my bluetooth address becomes 00:00:00:00:00. So am not able to transfer files via bluetooth. I have a backup of my IMEI so thats not a problem. But the Wifi and the bluetooth have been a problem for me. I tried flashing stock rom via SP flash tools too. But that too didn't work for me. I saw some tutorials but most of the files have been deleted on them so i am not successful on doing them. Kindly anyone help me please. My mail address is demongokul@gmail.com
