Yes, this is a WiFi messenger ( Not over internet ) . Also we use wifi as our medium .
There is Sofwares such as Flash transffer and Software data cable .
Then why not we make a text transfer app ?

Using the whatsapp theme and engine may make it awesome . I hope anyone will take it . Post your likeness here if you take it :)

unable to connect to wifi on htc one dual sim 802 w topic

My htc one dual sim 802 w unable to connect to any wi-fi.Android version is 4.4.2.
This problem did not exist previously.but I have this problem since yesterday.
It can still scan and find all the wifi networks nearby but cann't to connect wifi and it shows the "disable" message.
Other smartphone and TV and laptop connect to wifi but this htc cann't to connect.
I tried in other places with various router , but also the problem is not solved.
This phone does not connect in the "wpa" mode , but in "wpa 2" it is easy to connect.
I've reset the phone to Factory in setting and twrp recovery.but also the problem is not solved.
Please please help me.

[Q] WiFi + Google Play Music issues topic

Hi guys,

Got a problem with my mother's Xperia SP. WiFi doesn't seem to stay on when the screen is off, despite the right option being ticked in settings. It doesn't show any sign that it's disconnected, but Google Play Music stops downloading the long queue of music we've selected to be stored on the device if the screen is closed for a little while. This is most frustrating, and I suspect a software bug.

This is an Xperia SP on Orange, build number 12.0.A.2.254 (the latest available, Android 4.1.2) and the bootloader is not unlockable or I would have installed Cyanogenmod already.

Any ideas?

Changing Wi-Fi AP Mac? topic

Hello.

I'm the developer of an app called StreetPass Riiley , It's not available on the store (but you can find it on gbatemp/reddit) it's an app aimed for people with 3DS that creates an access point and cycles a bunch of Nintendo Macs to give you StreetPasses.

The app works great until 4.2 but now with my Nexus 5 I don't find a way to change the mac of the Access Point created by the Wi-Fi Tether. I can change the mac of the device changing the "/persist/wifi/.macaddr" file but when I start the Access Point this one generates with a random mac


Do you have any idea how to change this?

Tab 10.1 wifi problems topic

Hi there,

Since last year i have bought a samsung tab2 10.1 wifi only, i think the device is very slow. Especially on the touchscreen, it is not reacting very well. So i want to try a custom rom like CM 10.1

What steps must i do now, i want to backup my personal settings. Like email and facebook profiles, this can be done with KIES i've read?
I also bought a 32gb class10 SD card.

Is there a good manual or video instruction that i can use or follow?

WiFi Stuck On topic

Tried searching for this but can't seem to find anything similar. I did think it was down to this camera bug but I don't think it is...

Basically, in the last few days, my Nexus thinks the WiFi is on when I've not used it in weeks. This is based on the battery stats in the Settings menu. It's killing my battery, like 10% in less than an hour, and this is also the same on a fresh install of the factory image with now other apps installed.

Anyone know what's going on, or what to suggest?

My HTC One max cannot connect on the WIFI at my home after I updated to 4.4.2. At first I can connect when I was on 4.3 then I update it and successfully installed. The problem turned out when I reset my phone and suddenly I cannot connect to my WIFI anymore, on my office it can cannot and only in my house cannot. Any idea how it can be fixed?

Asking for help on the forums is usually my last result, I can assure you. I've been at it all day now and I keep coming across the same answers and the same n/a issues.

I'm going to make this as easy as possible with the hope that some one out there will be able to help me. Because I hit my data limit and I can't even download a simple app from the Google Play Store.

My Problem: Wifi will not toggle on

My Phone (The current state of the status bar makes me cringe as well. I literally JUST got done with a factory reset)


A quick run through
1. The phone was running 4.3 when I bought it. (wifi worked)
2. I decided to root using CF-Auto Root (wifi worked)
3. I updated to 4.4.2 using the Samsung Kies (breaking my root of course)
4. I re-rooted with CF-Auto Root and flashed the latest TWRP
5. A few days later, I turned on WiFi for the first time and it instantly switched itself back off.

I'm positive I flashed all the correct stuff. I do my research before voiding my warrenty.
(for 4.4.2, I flashed the latest CF-Auto-Root-jfltetmo-jfltetmo-sghm919.tar.md5 with Odin v3.09. Afterwards, openrecovery-twrp-2.7.0.1-jfltetmo.tar)



Solutions I've tried:
-Reboot
-Took out the battery
-a few other little modifications I did in root explorer
-Factory reset

If you've any questions about what I've done or any suggestions for things to try, please let me know. I would like to avoid flashing a custom ROM for the time being.

I have the SGS4A 4.3 ML2, I had an issue after freezing apps with titanium backup so I flashed ML2 over. My wifi isn't connecting. It says saved, secured and then connecting repeatedly. Someone help me out here.

I've been struggling to solve this problem for a week. Sometimes WiFi and 3G stay connected like below (see the notification bar)

Or sometimes I can't connect to WiFi when I have 3G enabled. It was saying my wireless SSID is "Turned off" like below

But luckily I found the solution. I'm posting here the fix for others who have the same problem.

[Q] WiFi and Lock Screen - 4.2.2 topic

Heyy guys. I am facing a lil problem at the moment.

After upgrading to 4.2.2 (Downloaded the Malaysia firmware from Sammobile and flashed it with Odin),

• My 'remembered' WiFi has been cleared and it has been my fourth time.


• My lock screen seems to have a 1-second lag as well. Sometimes, the lock screen is a little messed up - after a longer call (say 2 mins +), it shows my lock screen but couldn't unlock it.

Could it possibly be my CSC and such?
Any idea how to solve this issue?

I've searched all over the net for this problem but to no avail.
I have a Samsung galaxy s4 i9505 LTE android 4.3 which is rooted with Cwm recovery using odin.
So the problem is the only reason I rooted my phone was in order to read the wifi passwords stored in my device (coz mostly my friends enter their wifi passwords and do not show them) but in this phone the passwords inside "wpa_supplicant conf" are encrypted. :/
So I need your help guys .. just find me another way to figure this out..

[Q] Need wifi help AT&T S3 topic

Ok, so I've had wifi issues for awhile with this thing, but apparently the 4.3 update sent it over the edge. (I just updated it last week, since I was out of the country when the update issued).

The issue is, I cannot connect to any wifi, other than my home. Before the update, I could connect to non-home wifi only through various router setting changes, that required admin access to the router. After the update, no matter what I've tried with regards to routers, my home router is the only one I can connect to, and the signal strength is pretty bad on my phone, while it shows very strongly for any other device.

I've tried all the suggestions in just about every thread I could find. I've done several factory resets, I've tried the *#0011# thing. I've tried using static IP addresses. But the phone will do one of two things. After I click connect, after selecting a network, it will say Saved. Or it will try to connect and then go back to Saved, or eventually give the Authentication error.

I'm not 100% familiar with how android is setup, but is there a specific file that I could try to install that might affect this? (Like a driver)

Would replacing the antenna be helpful, or maybe the chip on the mb? Or are those options too extreme?

Any ideas are appreciated.

Wifi & CWM isn't working in Xperia Arc topic

I rooted my Xperia Arc last year and installed Ultimate HD v3. Though it was working fine yesterday after I had flashed Ultimate HD v5, both my Wifi and CWM stopped working (earlier I probably installed CWM manually through copying some files to SYSTEM directory). Now, I have no idea whether its a ROM specific problem or I've done something wrong. I am a noob so someone please help me out. In this situation could someone help with the following:

1. How I can re-install CWM now (my wifi is nor working)?
2. Is there any way to start wifi without CWM module flash?

It would be a great help if someone could guide me what to do and provide some thread link for this. Thanks in advance.
