[Q] Help! i think i bricked my samsung galaxy tab 2 7.0! :C topic

Hi,

Recently i bought a 16gb SD card from wal-mart and i thought that i could just use that to install apps with...boy was i wrong. Anyway, i decided to root and install cm11.0 on it, everything worked fine and dandy until i decided to install a mod that i saw that said "swap internal SD/External SD. It got me excited and so i jumped into installing it like normal (e.g. recover -> flash -> reboot) and my tablet started up at the boot logo for Samsung. i got excited and excited until i noticed it was taking FOREVER. it booted up and worked but the battery drained out because it was left with 5% left. it died, i tried turning it back on but nothing happens :'c. BUT although whenever i plug the tablet into a wall socket i get a battery logo and a little loading thing that indicates that its charging, BUT the indicator is frozen. It just doesn't move and neither does the charging bar.

I can send pictures of what it looks like but im no photographer :D:D Please helpp!!! :crying: :crying:

I think i bricked my S4 :/ topic

So right now i m stuck in a boot loop back to recovery.
Whenever i try to wipe clean, and flash a rom it gets stuck on installing.

This happened after i tried flashing some kernels.
BioShock_4.3_4.1
Infamous_S4_Kernel.v4.6_OC

So do I need a specific kernel for a specific rom? Should i just reinstall the original stock kernel?

[Q] I think I bricked my Ascend p6. Please help me topic

I rooted my Ascend p6 without having installed a custom recovery. After installing a new font and rebooting, the phone just stays stuck on the huawei logo. :( When I go into stock recovery mode and try to flash the stock rom (or anything else) again it says:
E: failed to verify whole-file signature
E: signature verification failed
installation aborted

Then it also says: Failed to mount sdcard (No such file or directory):( even though I have a perfectly working sd card installed

It also shows a picture of the android robot thing lying on the floor open with a red exclamation mark on top :crying:

PLEASE HELP!!!!!

I think I bricked an X... topic

My fiance just got her VZW Moto X, 16GB. Since mine was a DE, it was simple to get it rooted and whatnot.

So, I tried the guide that was posted to downgrade to the 4.2.2 camera update, got all of the fastboot stuff done successfully and went to reboot it.

NOW... the damn thing won't even turn on. Not even when I plug it into the charger. F*ck.

So... what do I need to do to get this think back up and running? I really don't want to owe her 0 for whatever happened.

[Q] CM9, CM10 or CM11. What do you think? ;) topic

Hey all,

I have a XPERIA sola and I'm running it nearly everytime on CM. But which one do you recommend?

Here's my opinion:
- CM9 (good balance between performance and battery, but too old Android)
- CM10 (Newer Android but ****ty battery life)
- CM11 (what about this? I just tried Carbon yet and battery + performance is not that good. UI is smooth but RAM is bad)

So can you share your experince with CM ROM's too?:)

I think i broke my Note 3!!! topic

I tried to flash the Baltic ROM with odin 3.07. I didn't find a way to change CSC (so KIES can recognize it) and i tried to go back to 4.3 EUR. But:

Odin failed (Checking MD5 finished Sucessfully..... Leave CS..... FAIL!) and now when i open the phone there is the following message :Firmware upgrade encountered an issue. Please select recovery mode in Kies & try again. KIES 3 says the connected device is not supported. I tried flashing the stock rom with ODIN (even tried 3.09) again but it failed. what can i do to recover my phone?

Thanks for any answers

If you think your Nexus is dead, check for loose screws under the ribbon connectors. topic

tl;dr: Check out whether one of your missing screws has got stuck in the tiny space underneath the ribbon connectors (CHECK ATTACHED PHOTOS)

Attachment 2534866Attachment 2534865

long story: I'm far from wealthy, but I wanted to get my parents some piece of electronic that they can surf the web and have fun with. I found this cheap used Nexus 7 online and today I've been basically playing around with it all day checking out different roms and stuff.

At one point I had to unplug the battery because I couldn't shut down the tablet. When I did that, while holding the tablet I shook it up a little and heard something loose in it. I noticed there were screws missing. One of the screws was poking out from underneath the charging ribbon. Without taking off the ribbon I tried to wiggle it around a bit with a screwdriver, hoping it would come out, but instead it got stuck inside a little further. I noticed the noise when shaking the device was gone, so I just put on the cover back on and tried to start it. It wouldn't even light up.

I obviously tried everything suggested on the web. Holding the power button for 30s and such. I plugged the Nexus for charging and heard a little buzzing sound coming FROM THE TABLET. I got curious, so I took off the back again, removed the battery and plugged in the USB charger again. The buzz was still there and it was coming from around the charger ribbon. I unplugged it, removed the screw that got stuck inside and the tablet works again. It must've been causing a short circuit, or something.

I'm so ****ing happy, you have no idea.

Thankfully it works flawlessly, the battery is fine and it charges alright.

I really hope this helps somebody out. I thought the tablet was done, but thankfully I'm as lucky as I am dumb.
