I'm getting rid of a few Note 2 accessories as I upgraded to Note 3.
Here is the list, most are like-new condition with a few wear signs (no tear however - view attached photos):

Note 3 - Galaxy S5 Icons by changing build.prop topic

Hey guys,

I just noticed, that wenn you change the product information from the Note 3 to the HTC M8 ones (Or propably anything else) you get the Galaxy S5 Icons in the Notification center, and also the new multi-tasking menu.

I'm running 4.4.2 and have an N9005.

I think the camera of the note 3 is not that great as it should be?

Hey guys, I'm currently having problem with my note 8.0 :( iI tried installing cm11. Downloaded and followed the steps but after wiping and formatting all the stuff that was in the step I'm having this prob see pic below. It says that I'm using n5110 instead of n5100. Now it keeps rebooting and nothing can be done anymore as I already format everything.. and yea forgot to backup ofc ...

i have a galaxy note gt-i9220 but i have root it along time a go soo i can use google services and i have change the name to n7000 soo i can instal Ultimate_N7000_LT4_JB_4.1.2_v6 but after that i instaled another rom build number is ILLUSION_N7000-USERDEBUG 4.3JSS15Q and i want to get back to the ultimate rom but when i go to recovery SD card wont open in only show 3 files , and superuser said : gaining root access fail and root cheker said the device is not rooted i dont know what to do i hate this rom PLEASE HELP ME

[Q] Question about Kernel (Note 2 Rogers) topic

Hey there people,

Read the FAQs and did some browsing already but not really finding the information or maybe not searching the right things.


So I'm looking at flashing the Ditto Note 3 ROM but not having any luck. Using TWRP 2.6.3.0 and currently on IOKP, and I've read the Ditto Note 3 page several times ( http://forum.xda-developers.com/show....php?t=2541860 ) and it mentions changing the kernel to an N7105 MK5 Kernel and I just don't understand that.

It looks like the ROM info states that Kernel is in the rom itself for when you flash, and they also say "Pick N7105 instead of I317, otherwise you will stuck at "Sumsung" glowing logo!!!" but I really do not want to screw up my note 2 by flashing for a different device.... Is that why the kernel is there?

All in all, I've been reading lots of information regarding this and not finding the right information. I'm getting more well versed in this information but some things like this go above my head. Any help would be amazing. :)

EDIT: Noticed that I have TWRP 2.6.3.0 instead of 2.6.3.1, how difficult is that to change and if changed do I lose my back-up of stock touchwiz rom?

T-Mobile Galaxy Note 2 GPS location data wrong. topic

I have a rooted TMobile Galaxy Note 2 and for some reason it shows my phone location as being in Tonapah Nevada. I am in Stockton California tho. When I try to use navigation it always shows my start location as that same location ("unnamed rd in Tonapah Nevada") unless I scroll across the map and manually find my location dot in Stockton. It isnt exclusive to google. I have the same problem with the 'Check in' feature on Facebook. I I've tried everything i could with my limited knowledge of the processes and searched threads for similar problems. I hope someone can help me with this. Thanks

Dear All,

I have SM-N9005(Note 3) purchased in UAE. As Android Kitkat(4.4.2) is not officially released, I downloaded and updated Note-3 with Poland Offical Firmware from www.sammobile.com.

Now I want to root my Note 3 without disturbing the knox. I gone through the forum http://forum.xda-developers.com/show....php?t=2487916
the root access procedure mention is quite old(4.3), I am not sure whether same procedure will work for 4.4.2 also. Can somebody please confirm it. Below are my phone details

Model : SM-N9005
AP : N9005XXUENB3
CP : N9005XXUENB1
CSC : N90050XXENB1

Dropped Note 3 topic

My wife said she dropped her week old Note 3 in the parking lot. She said when it hit the ground the battery came out and got run over by a car. The outer glass is still good and is not broken. The inner LCD/digitizer is completely destroyed. Also the back plate where the battery goes is cracked across the phone and the battery is shot. When you look down the side of the phone it looks bent ever so slightly. All I can get out of her is “I just dropped it”. Does not sound like it to me. When I put in my battery it will power on and I can hear the sounds like it powered up. But then it shuts back down. No display at all will show up.

Does it sound like there is more than just the LCD/Digitizer broken? I called Samsung repair and they said it would be 6 for the display but did not know if anything else would need replacing. Should I send it to Samsung or is it a total loss?

Just got my hands on a note 3.
Been an S4 owner with the luxury of having MDK...so I'm new to this whole safe strap thing.

Rooted it via vroot, installed safestrap and set up the first ROM slot. Unfortunately I have no clue to set the partition sizes to. When I installed Baja I go into storage and have 28GB installed on the internal storage.

Is it normal for the storage to have so little available space?

hi all i am going to buy note 3 after few days and now a days i am watching review videos and lots of threads on xda.. and i found that note 3 specially n9005 version has low sound quality compared to note 2 and also its camera is not sharp and pictures come out blurry specially in night time,,, please share your experience.... i got a chance to get my hands on to galaxy s4 I9500 and its speakers was awesome very loud! but i like S-pen thats why want note 3. kindly share your real life experience. i have verizon galaxy note 2 and i flash dn3 rom but i decide to restore to stock rom cause i cant use unlock feature on dn3 rom...so i used odin to flash with stock rom...and here's problem..after odin show pass with green, my phone in looping in verizon logo..so i tried to do flash again odin show fail message and phone doesnt boot.. samsubgng logo poped up and go away like flashing..
i cant even enter to recovery mode..
i could enter to download mode but odin give me fail message...
