I'm kinda stuck on unrooting my Note 3 (SM-N9005)
I've tried to unroot about 10 times in the same amount of usb ports (about)
I always get the same problem

[Q] Note 3 Slow Wifi Speed (SM-N9005) topic

Hi cant seem to get higher than 25Mbit on my note 3 wifi speed... i have tried 3 routers already and i just purchased a Netgear Nighthawk R7000 router.

I can get 130Mbit on my dell xps 15 using wireless N.... my Note is connected by AC and still only getting about 25Mbit

It shows connected at 466Mbit on the wifi menu of the note 3 ... obviously not right

very frustrating ... any ideas what i can do ?

I have a sm-n9005 and I'm trying to use it on at&t. I bought the sim card and literally just got the prepaid plan. my data isn't working though. The at&t guy said my phone is blocking the data. I can make and receive calls. I think he was trying to get me out the store. Can someone help me on getting data working?

Having problems rooting SM-n9005 topic

Hi to all. Just got rid of my note 2 and wished I hadn't !

Anyway....here we go.....

Model: as above
Firmware: it did have MJ7 on there (which from what I read is kind of rooted) - some people say yes some no...
Knox: don't care, don't use it.
Warranty: History.
New firmware: N9005XXUENB1 - got this from Samsung roms and that's whats currently on there in its stock format.

Tried the cf-auto-root from chainfire (and a slightly older version as well) - both cause it to bootloop. Googled for rooting NB1 and cant really find anything, so, here I am....

Anyone done this rom yet? I can't have a stock phone unrooted - its against my religion....

[Q] Bluetooth issues Note 3 SM-N9005 topic

Bluetooth completely broken. 1 week old rooted through odin stock 4.4.2.
Put a line in script platform.xml in order to read/write to micro sd card (that never happened!). Camera stopped working. Did factory reset. camera still not working,
went to use bluetooth in car and it went craze flashing up message bluetooth not available. Then realised what I had done earlier on re the platform xml script. removed the line dumped camera cache and data, reboot, camera now working no issues but bluetooth completely dead. Every time I try to start bluetooth it says turning on then just stops after a minute. cleared data and cache in bluetooth share and bluetooth test, reboot but still nothing. battery out etc...
Did at one stage import titanium backup from SGS1 i wonder did overwrite a script or something?
Anyway HELP needed please.

[Q] SM-N9005 WLAN Speed topic

Hello,
i'm runninig the KK-Version of the Note 8 Rom. I have a 100Mbps Internet Connection at home. With my laptop i get about 90Mbps.
With my Note 3 only about 32 Mbps. Do you have any soloutions, that i get the same connection speed as my laptop?

[Q] Soft Brick Note 3 SM-N9005 topic

Hi,
I have rooted my HTC One X many times in the past but I am having trouble rooting my Galaxy Note 3.

Firstly, what I have done is using Odin3v185 I flashed n9005-cwm-recovery-6.0.4.4(1011).tar all ok so far.

Then in CWM I flashed UPDATE-SuperSU-v1.65.zip and rebooted. All works fine.

But the problem started after I tried to flash custom rom. Firstly, I tried to install FoxHound_Ground_Zeroes_2.0_Kitkat_4.4.2_By_Snakes_ GT-N9005.zip I wiped data/factory reset, wiped cache, wiped dalvik cache, format system and format cache then install from zip and went to install from zip and chose FoxHound. After install, I wipe dalvik cache again then reboot but get stuck in bootloop (Samsung SN-N9005 screen comes up and stays there)

So I try again but no change.

Then I decide to try a different ROM so I do as above but with [NOTE3-SM_9005]MK2_BoBCaTROM_V3.0.zip and X-Note_Aroma_Build_7.0_ML2_Public.zip but this time the boot screens come up doing the animations but progress no further.

I have SM-N9005 which is all I know about it. A don't know the PDA, CSC, or modem. I bought it online from Kogan and it came with a UK plug I think, EP-TA10UWE Is there a way to find out which model I have so I can reflash the stock rom or can you suggest what steps I have done wrong or missed.

I have also tried emergency recovery in KIES but nothing comes up after while following the steps in http://forum.xda-developers.com/show....php?t=2261153

I can still get into Recovery and Download Mode.

Hi guys,
I have always flashed my HTC phones without problems or weirdness at all, now i buy my first samsung and all of a sudden i read samsung is putting in all kinds of weird crap in my far to expensive phone because they feel i should use or need knox. They need to make good phones and not care as to what i run on my phone IMHO

I read alot of stuff on here about people bricking their phone so i had a few questions to clarify things. I really really DONOT want to render
my note 3 useless. First about Knox: I don't care about any flags, knox or company's at all, i bought the note 3, it is mine and i would like to do with it what i want not what samsung thinks is right for me hence Android. I donot lose any functionallity after i tripped knox right?

So i understand that this knox thing is just a flag? Other then that i can forget about it and just root and place a rom of choice?
What about that thing called binary flash counter (not even sure wy my phone has it or need it), do i need to do anything with that? Also i read 4.4 peeps can't get back to 4.3 this is wy i killed automatic updates on my device for now.

My current firmware is MJ7 and basicly i don't want or need kitkat (atleast not now). So which exact files do i need to use chainfire's method of rooting my device? After that which exact recovery do install and how? Odin or via the market GOO apk thingy? so i can install rom's like x-note v7 or one in that trent? I am leaning towards TWRP although i always flashed on CWM. Can i for instance just flash 4.3 roms once i got TWRP newest version?

Just want to get this all over with so i can enjoy my phone 100% and not 50. I also need to get rid of all the crap samsung put on my phone (stuff i didn't ask for) and no i don't want their music, movies or appstores. Any help is appreciated.

I think a good guide with up to date links for my firmware would help a lot. Not just snippets everywere across the board.

1) the EXACT files i need to root my phone.
2) the EXACT TWRP version (can i just get newest one for 4.3 roms?) i need and how to put it on my Note 3 Odin or with the GOO apk thingy.
after i do have the thing rooted.
3) the zip rom file were do i put that? internal SD card or on my external one or does it matter?

[Q] Can't install hltexx CM rom on hltexx SM-N9005 device. topic

Hello guys, I have a Samsung Galaxy Note 3 SM-N9005 device on which I installed CyanogenMOD from a tutorial I found on the Internet, but everytime I was going through my Setting > About I could see that it showed my device as an N9000 device. So now I was thinking to do a reinstall with the correct hltexx version but when I'm trying to install the cm-11-20140123-NIGHTLY-hltexx.zip It shows me an ERROR: 'This package is for "hltexx" devices; this is a "hlte".

What can I do to fix my phone? I have already formated everything and I'm just waiting for a solution. I searched already on google but I couldn't find anything.
