[Q] DN3 v4 SD card error on n7100 topic

Hi thee,

Someone can help me out on this?
I used DN3 v3 for a while and was very happy with it. Now I wanted to install latest version on my n7100, but I get an sd card error everytime. For all other matters, the sd card works perfect without any issues, only when trying to install this rom.

Any ideas about this?

Hi Team,

I need your help. Recently I have flashed DN3 4RC on my N7100. Everything is working fine but I have one question. I want to go back to official 4.3 firmware. Can you please guide me how I can do it. My Binary Counter has also been increased to 10. I tried triangle away almost all the version but nothing happens to reset the counter.

Please help me developers :(

N7100 problem topic

So i have a galaxy note 2 (n7100 international version), I was trying to root my phone:
flashed philz recovery using odin
installed drketan multitools and rooted/ deleted bloatware on my phone.

Looks fine right? well here's the problem, my phone said "s suggest has stopped working" it was impossible to stop my phone from making me very clear that s suggest had stopped so i went back into recovery and wiped data and factory reset.
and that is were my problem resides.

my phone will boot and show to boot screen, after 2-3 times of trying to boot it goes to recovery.

I want to go back to stock and keep my hands off of rooting, flashing and other magical android mysteries
so, Can someone please help me find/install stock android 4.3 for n7100 international?

Excuse me guys my note 2 was working perfect suddenly problems with network and doesnt detect the sim card
After formating flashing any new rom nothing happened
It give me imei null

It only worked after flashing baseband
But the problem that after 1 or two days the same problem appears

Plz could u help me and tell me what to do

PC cannot recognize my N7100 topic

Hello, there is a problem with the recognition of my Note 2 by my PC. In fact, when I connect my Note 2 to my computer via a USB cable, on the right corner of the bottom of the screen, it says "Installing device driver software". At the same time, when I clicked on the message, it shows a window indicating the process (left: MTP USB Device, right: Installing driver software) but after a while, it says "left: MTP USB Device, right failed). In addition, in Devices and Printers of my computer, at the bottom of window, it shows my device and naming it "SAMSUNG_Android". However, when I open Windows Explorer, it shows nothing. I know this problem is common but I have no clue solving it. Thanks.

Note: I also notice a little yellow triangle on the bottom left corner of my computer "USER-PC" and when I clicked on it, in the Hardware tab, it shows that the usb device(vid_1f3a_pid_efe8) doesn't start (Code 10). I suspected that this might causes the problem. Thus, I watch a video on Youtube and they said that I simply need to uninstall the it. However, this doesn't solve the problem neither after a reboot. I also attempted to use Kies but it doesn't show my device neither (it hangs on Connecting...).

First i can say that i read about EMMC problems, i want to be sure because i leave my phone with a technician and the conclusion was a EMMC problem or some kind of hardware problem, he tried with several firmwares.

I read that on EMMC problems or sudden death, when you are in download mode, product name doesn´t say GT-N7100 like this:

Before this happens the phone get many forced restarts, it was on Jelly Bean 4.3, sometimes just froze at random times, then i get into recovery and wipe date, after that the phone starts like new but where i was reading the steps to wipe the phone properly i read that i had to wipe cache too, so i entered recovery again and wipe data then i wipe cache, when the phone restarted it just stay on Galax Note logo, i waited like 45 minutes and remove battery.

When i tried to enter recovery again i couldnt, i was happy that the phone entered download mode so i get a new 4.3 firmware, downloaded odin and tried to install the firmware, odin failed to install and said Theres no pit partition.

Appreciate the help that anybody can give me, i even didnt care if i have to install a custom firmare with custom recovery, i dont have warranty here in Venezuela and i think technicians are sometimes clueless with thins kind of problems.

My problem,its after install 4.3 ROM to my Note II (GT-n7100),no registered on network..

I tried other metods to fix,but no-one not help.

I fixed network,but wifi doesn't working.. I downloaded WiFi Fix,but he too dont work to me.

[Q] N7100 No Wifi after "Emergency Calls" FIX and WiFi Fix (STOCK 4.3) topic

Hello Everybody,

I would like to begin by saying how much I've learned in xda-devs in the last few days just by searching around the forum and Fixing different things here and there.
This is such a great community that I decided to register :)

OK so heres the deal:

Last week i bought a Note-2 (N7100) running Samsung Android 4.1.2 (Israel Version) + Rooted
I wanted to upgrade to 4.3 but 4.3 isn't yet released in Israel according to sammobile.com and other people I asked.
I found a Stock Deodexed Pre-Rooted ROM here on the forums (I think version was MK4), Flashed it, and lost cellular abilities (there is signal but emergency calls only) and WiFi.
Flashed WiFi FIX by Dr. Ketan, and by installing Devil's kernel (Patched_N7100_MK4_KERNEL.zip) and GT-N7100_ModemMJ9.zip I was able to gain 3G Functionality back.

Phone was working great for a few days, but then I decided to upgrade to Dito Note v3.2 because i wanted Note-3 Functionality.
After flashing it, I lost the ability to register to network again, started receiving "UIds on the system are inconsistent " and phone crashed every few minutes, screen stoped working every now and then.

I immediately looked for a different ROM to flash, (couldn't find the original ROM I flashed but i found DrKetan_Custom_ROM_V6_1).
So i wipe the phone, cache, sd-card and everything besides formatting the internal storage, Installed this ROM but still had the same issues with ULDS on the system, phone crashes and display shuts down while phone is still working).

Desperate, I downloaded Stock firmware (With KNOX) and flashed it to my device (I used Odin 3.09 and flashed everything, BL,CP,AP,CSC that was included within the original ROM). this was the Seri-Lanka firmware if I remember right.
This time phone boots without complaining about system files, but got "Emergency calls only" (IMEI and S/N still ok!).
In addition, I now have bootloader with KNOX.

I then thought, maybe the modem version is incompatible with the Cellular frequencies in my country (Israel Freqs: 850,2100), so i looked for countries with similar freq and downloaded official firmware for Thailand.

Flashed it with ODIN (same as before, BL,CP,AP,CSC basically everything) device boots fine, WiFi was working, but couldn't register on network ("emergency calls only") even if you can see your provider while manual scanning, registers successfuly apparently,but still no service.

Fraustrated, I rooted the device (Knox turned 0x1 but it doesn't really matter to me cause no warranty anyway), installed Philiz and flashed the 2 Fixes I mentioned at the begining (Devils kernel + Mj9 modem).

This resolved "Emergency calls only" issue, but now i cannot open WiFi at all!.
I tried to flash WiFi fix that i found in this forums but it didn't work. I've given everything I have in the last 2 days trying to fix this issue but I cant seem to solve this problem.

Now I'm just thankful that I can start/receive phone calls with my device.

I can't seem to understand, how did I not have signal with stock ROM?
could it be EFS was corrupted somehow so that only MJ9 Modem + Devil's Kernel read it?
How can i FIX WiFi?

[Q] Anyone successfully got the ext2internal sd script working on N7100? topic

Hi, I did some research but it could be not thorough. I apologize if this bothers anyone

But I really don't know how to make script ext2internal sd work on my N7100. I am using DN3 3.1 rom.

I tried pheonix rom v16 with opting to enable this script but I just got lots of error popups after rebooting, as many others did.

I also check the original post of ext2internal sd, but that is for GS3.

So before I get my hands on it and try to flash it. I want to know if any N7100 user has got this fantastic function already, and how to do this?

tried re-installing samsung usb driver of different version but not worked.

My Note 2 is working and detecting when is powered ON,

but when it is in download mode it's not detected by any computer .
