[Q] Deleted OS, Odin Fails, Computer won't recognize phone topic

I have spent days searching for solutions and everything I have tried failed.

I thought I did a factory restore but somehow deleted the entire operating system. I tried flashing an official ROM via Odin but it failed (I know it previously worked), and my PC won't recognize the phone. I do have a custom recovery, TWRP, but the backup was on a different custom recovery and I somehow got the phone to start into the ClockworkMod (?). Any ideas? I have researched extensively and have found nothing. Kies won't even recognize my phone.

I also cannot get the phone's drivers to install on my computer, and I have reinstalled them multiple times.

Can anyone help me? I feel like I've wasted 0 on a phone that is now useless (I did buy it refurbished but also bought a third-party warranty, and accessories so it added up fast.)

[Q] CWM recovery wont recognize .zip ROM files topic

So here's the thing. Today i tried installing Paranoid on my HTC HD2. And it's not the first time i am doing this. I also wanted to use that link2sd for more space for my apps and i decided to create the Ext4 before installing the Rom.....which didn't work out so i reformatted the SD back to FAT32 and went on with the installation. So using HD2 toolkit wipped Task 29 installed CLK and CWM recovery, copied over the zip file to SD card. Normally i pressed "install zip from sd card" and then "choose zip from sd card" and it says ??No files found??. Tried that a couple of times, reformated the sd, done the process all over again but it's all the same.
Sorry for that long story but i want to make clear of what's my problem and i would really be very greateful if somebody can help me with this thing.

P.S. First time i formatted the SD was with Minitool Partition Wizard.

[Q] pc can't recognize and can't charge when switched on topic

Hi everybody
After updating my Xperia t, pc can't recognize it and charger works only when it is switched off. Also I can boot not to flash mode nor fastboot mode. The led turns green but after a few seconds it goes to charging and can't go to.flash. Charger and cable has no issue and works fine with another phones. The rom was official and I flashed with flash boot. Can I do something to solve it?

I ran into a little problem the other day. I was trying new things and tried to save all my apk files to a new sd card i picked up that is 32gb male for samsumg. After that tried to transfer music and pictures and my laptop wont recognize either. I was thinking about reflashing the rom and just starting fresh. Will that fix it? And what about the sd card? If us ing the wicked rom that btw is awesome! Thanks for year help in advance.

PC cannot recognize my N7100 topic

Hello, there is a problem with the recognition of my Note 2 by my PC. In fact, when I connect my Note 2 to my computer via a USB cable, on the right corner of the bottom of the screen, it says "Installing device driver software". At the same time, when I clicked on the message, it shows a window indicating the process (left: MTP USB Device, right: Installing driver software) but after a while, it says "left: MTP USB Device, right failed). In addition, in Devices and Printers of my computer, at the bottom of window, it shows my device and naming it "SAMSUNG_Android". However, when I open Windows Explorer, it shows nothing. I know this problem is common but I have no clue solving it. Thanks.

Note: I also notice a little yellow triangle on the bottom left corner of my computer "USER-PC" and when I clicked on it, in the Hardware tab, it shows that the usb device(vid_1f3a_pid_efe8) doesn't start (Code 10). I suspected that this might causes the problem. Thus, I watch a video on Youtube and they said that I simply need to uninstall the it. However, this doesn't solve the problem neither after a reboot. I also attempted to use Kies but it doesn't show my device neither (it hangs on Connecting...).

Hi,

I would really like to use my tablet to take notes and have tried various bluetooth keyboards on my nexus 7 2012 (rooted) to no avail. I have searched threads but they all seem to slightly differ from the issue I'm having (e.g. some users were able to use their keyboards prior to updating to a new android version while my nexus had never recognized the bluetooth keyboards). The universal keyboard I now have is a ge brand. Anyway, if anyone can help I would greatly appreciate it.

[Q] cwm doesnt recognize my sd card topic

Hey there

I installed a version of miui on my P6. but i found out whatsapp and the play store dont work on it.
now i was planning on installing the new KK rom you can find on this forum.
But cwm doesnt see any updates on my sd card, it says nothing is on there. and if i go to rom manager and go to install rom from sd card it does say that he goes to my /sdcard directory but all i see on it is my internal storage.

anyone ever experienced this problem ? please help!

Computer cant recognize Acer A500 ????? NEED HELP!!!! topic

Ok so I figured this is my MAIN problem not being able to flash my Acer A500 and not being able to put a custom bootloader and recovery on it. My computer all together cant recognize my Acer ONLY when its in APX mode! My Acer IS ROOTED as well. My computer will recognize it normaly when its on and plugged i and i can transfer files and what not bewteen my computer and the Acer. But once I put it in APX mode thats when things go down hill! My computer installed a driver called "Acer Bootloader-Recovery" driver the first time i put it in APX mode. But still wont seem to recognize it! BUT!! I can go into my "Devices and Printers" and their it shows i have an "APX" device connected and its under "Unspificed" devices. So no matter WHAT program I use to flash it or install a custom recovery/bootloader, it can NEVER find my Acer! Even when i try to do an EUU to fully wipe the thing back to HC it STILL wont recognize my Tablet!!!! Its SO FRUSTRATING.... since to do anything with my tablet it needs to be in APX mode....I have ALL drivers installed. I got em off the website and downloaded the "HC 3.0.2" drivers (since they dont have any drivers for my ICS 4.0.3v).... So can anyone help me on this? Ive tried almost EVERYTHING i can in the book to get this thing to flash and recognize my Acer, but just wont.....heres ALL my tablet info if this helps at all:

Hey guys,
Just recently, my PC and any other PC Ive tried for that matter will not recognize my Note 3. I had Windows 7 and it worked fine for months, then just the other day it came up on the bottom as USB Device Not Recognized, and no matter what I do it will not do so. Yesterday, I upgraded to Windows 8.1 and still the same result. I have installed Kies 3, uninstalled and resintalled Samsung drivers and still nothing. I am running a custom rom in the stock slot using Safestrap...is it possible that that might have messed up something? Even when the cord is plugged into the PC, the phone doesnt come up with anything notification that it's plugged in, but it does say it is charging. If any of you have any tips or something please help because I am at my wits end.

I have a thousand threads trying to figure out what I have done wrong and decided to post my questions. I recently installed Android 4.3.1 with ev_tenderloin-nightly-2013.11.10. Ever since I have installed this the touchpad reboots every time I select albums to try to watch a movie or look at pictures that work fine on WEBOS. I also cannot get my computer to recognize the touchpad anymore so I can't transfer any files. Can anyone help with my device always crashing please!

[HELP] Galaxy S Advanced isn't recognize on computers topic

I have BIG problem. I've just bought the Galaxy S Advance and when i'm trying to connect it to computer, nothing happens. Of course phone starts charging, but nothing else. In device menager there isn't any new position. Phone works in Android 2.3.6 XXKL2 and i really want to upgrade to Jelly Bean, but I can't. I tried to reinstall many version of Kies and USB drivers, I tried connect phone to other operating system eg. Windows 7, 8.1, XP, Ubuntu 13:10 on a different computers. I tried turn on debugging mode, turn on the phone in Download mode, and I changed USB cable to another. Nothing works. Any ideas?

[Q] CWM Recovery doesn't recognize device model topic

I just rooted my Galaxy S2 using Odin and the kernel named: speedmod-kernel-s2-jb-k5-3-Odin

Root worked just fine.

Then I installed CWM via Google Play. Rebooted in Recovery mode, and looked for a custom ROM to install. The problem is when I select the zip file to be installed, CWM will say something like:

Can't install this ROM. This rom is for galaxys2 i9100 ..... This is a ' '.

The blank space between the colons should show the mobile model name. It is emtpy. Just as if CWM was missing some string, which the program checks with the ROM before starting the install.

Got completely no idea on what's wrong.

May I try to flash another kernel incluiding a CWM? Can I do that following just the same steps I did to root the phone, but with a different kernel? Any idea on what's gone wrong here?

[Q] Windows won't recognize phone / driver topic

My Windows 7 PC will not recognize my LG G2 D801. I have downloaded the universal drivers listed in most root websites and it's still not working.

In the Windows Device Manager (Devices and Printers), there is a yellow triangle with an exclamation point next to it. When I click on hardware, in the Device Function Summary, the manufacturer is listed as "Unknown" and the device status states "The drivers for this device are not installed. (Code 28)" I have tried multiple times to reset the phone, restart the computer, change USB cords (using the LG stock one now), etc. Please help. Thanks.
