Quick memo doesn't work-I've noticed that files quick memo in folder system-app is missing. Could anyone provide me files (stock JB) or help solving a problem?

update: I've found files quickmemo in systemm-app, I ran all disabled services but problem is nor solving, I have root, i don't want to do factory reset,

MHL HDMI adapter doesn't charge topic

Hi there,

So I bought a generic MHL adapter from ebay so I could hook up my phone to my TV through HDMI but the adapter does not charge while being used therefore it drains battery. It does charge BEFORE I hook up the hdmi to the TV, but as soon as it's connected, it stops charging. I know buying a cheap one from ebay is probably the reason in the first place, but if anyone knows a good brand of MHL adapter, feel free to share here so I can buy one that charges while I watch it on TV. FYI, I can't get media link from HTC because I have no wifi internet at home and its required, so I can only use MHL HDMI cable. Thanks for your help, let me know if there are any good brands and if you could post a link that would be great.

i bought moto g pay and go from o2 network in the uk. i watched some video on youtube and saw that moto g with 4.4 kitkat have a quick camera access button on the right bottom in the lock screen. Funny thing is that mine doesn't show that button althought it already update to 4.4 kitkat ( about phone section shows that). any ideals, please ? :silly:

i tried to burn some roms on my sgs2 but each and everyone stucked on the "Boot.bin" or "nand write". i tried to burn it with a pit file i downloaded with the odin ("u1_02_20110310_emmc_EXT4") and it stucked on the "set partition". i took the battery off to start all-over and now it doesnt turn on in download mod. what to do???

Hi, I use headphones sometime and tomorrow I discovered that every normal jack 3.5, which fit in perfectly like 2 days ago, doesn't fit well!
In fact I can hear almost from the left. I tried to remove dusts inside it, but it didn't solve anything, and I don't know how to fix this.
I've garancy but I don't want to waith 2 weeks for something like this... Any toughts?

Hi

I have a problem..
when I get incoming call, I'm muting the ringer and starts capturing audio streaming..
it works fine on most of the devices but not on HTC..
after reading in some forums I understood that in some firmwares, when we have incoming call,
the OS automatically direct the streaming into the audio chipset and the app does not have access to it.

is it true?

how can i programmatically detect these problematic firmware..?

Hi. My friend has an SP, it's stock and unrooted, and a few weeks ago the phone started to hang on black screen with backlight on. Of course he tried to reset the phone with the button under the battery, with no success. He returned it to the store, they only reflashed the stock rom, it worked for a day now it's the same. Has anybody find any solution to this? I tried to search for exact similar problems, but I couldn't find any with proper answers. I think he is on 4.3. Thanks for any help!

Hi...

I wanted to flash a kernel, so I entered into fastboot mode with the "up" volume holded, and then, the blue LED appeared, but then, it just dissappeared! So Flashtool didn't flash anything.

Again, and again, one time and other, and again.
I get bored and decided to flash the ROM I had in CWM, so I flashed it from CWM and now, I cannot turn on my phone cause it makes bootlogo.
Flashtool still does the same thing with my device when I'm trying to flash any Stock Rom or Kernel.

Please, I need the phone for daily usage and for tomorrow.

What can I do? I can enter to CWM but I don't know more things to do to solve this problem...

The speaker just doesn't work. I don't know why: I've never flashed a rom or things like that. Tried to wipe data from recovery but it didn't help... Could it be a hardware issue? Please help me

[Q] Install button doesnt work topic

Ever since I installed Cromi-X 5.3a (I have had it before, it worked properly, something just got messed up or I dont know), whenever I try to install some .apk from local storage, the install button acts like its not even a button. Installing from google play or aptoide works like it should though. Up until now, it hasnt been an issue, I could always find what I want in google play or aptoide, but now I need it and I dont want to reinstall ROM because of it. Is there some other installer? Or another way of installing an .apk?

[Q] Galaxy Ace - Download mode and stock rom doesn't work topic

I upgraded my Samsung Galaxy Ace s5830c to 4.2.2, run.
After I moved to 4.3 and also worked, but after changing some things in build.prop (Root Explorer), my phone stopped getting into Download mode, It is a gray screen forever. Now my phone is stopped ( Loop Infinite )

I can not do unroot: Installation Aborted.

When I try to change my android version (install zip from sd card), appear this: Installation Aborted
I did found the build.prop backup, and I can not go back to stock rom by odin, because as I said, the screen turns gray when I try to enter download mode.

Help me, will have to go back stock rom, downloading a backup. (My friend did it, but I did not think and do not know how to do)

[Q] Recovey doesn't enter topic

After update my Clockwork Recovery to 6.0.4.6, I tryed to enter on the Recovery Mode by pressing Up + Power + Home on reboot.

The recovery starts but it just shows "ClockWordkMod Recovery v6.0.4.6" and then the phone is rebooted.

After all, I came back to Rom Manager app and click on "Restart on Recovery Mode" button. Now my phone is stuck on a loop, it can't enter in Recovery mode and can't boot normally. Only thing I can do is enter on Odin mode.

I already tried to remove the battery for a few minutes but the problem continues when I put it back.

What can I do?

[Q] Computer Doesn't See USB topic

I am running CM10.1 from a mSD card. When I connect my NC to my computer via USB cable it isn't recognized. The NC is recognized with the mSD card out of the NC and booted into the NC's OS. Computer OS is Linux. I ran fdisk -l just to check and card in it is not seen. Is the NC recognized only with no card in or what. The CM10 was unlocked. I wanted to transfer some book files over. Will I have to pull the card and plug it into my computer?

Well ,with vengeance kernel my phone doesnt boot, it just vibrates and nothing... The new versions like 1.40 works, but i want the first version with overclock, i heard that this kernel is amazing, and it doesnt boot.

I can't post in the development forums because this is my first post. I'm on Will03 SlimKat V7. I did a factory wipe before install and haven't added any apps or made any changes. The alarm works fine if the phone isn't plugged in, but does nothing if it is. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Hi, I have a Verizon unlimited data plan. I'd like to get a phone that doesn't need to be rooted in order to tether to run my computer (FoxFi or whatever other one is recommended). Or is there a way I can buy a phone off of the sales site that already has FoxFi on it & it's ready to go? I asked a question similar to this yesterday & now can't find it. [Q] 4.4.2 ExtSDCard Fix Doesn't Work topic

Hey everyone,

After updating to 4.4.2 I had the SD Card Write problem that other people have been having, and I looked around and found two threads here with a guide to fixing it.

I tried flashing both the files (Using Philz recovery) but it didn't help.

What's more confusing is that if I try to manually edit my platform.xml file, ES file explorer simply says "Task Failed" when I try to save the edited file or even replace it with a pre-edited one. This is despite granting it root permissions. I thought that maybe my phone didn't root properly, but root checker says it's rooted fine, and I've used Xposed, AdAway, Greenify, and Seeder successfully.

I'm not sure if this is related, but Titanium Backup's freeze feature isn't working for me anymore either. I have purchased the Pro version. It says freezing successful, but it simply doesn't do anything to the app I'm trying to freeze.

Any ideas what's happening here?
