is there any simple way to root Lenovo K900 as if we flash system.img which has been provided it erase all account information and i dont want to lose any information or any account from my phone.

before this i have used many android phone and for them rooting phone was very easy.

Is there a stock rom with a counter reset? topic

I know knox is a pain in the "butt" but I just got the tablet (P600) yesterday and I am a regular rooter on my S3 and all my phone previously but if I do root will I not be able to get back to the stock with a reset of the counter? I know this may be an odd question but I just started looking today. Really I just want to get rid of some of the bloatware on here and maybe play around with the kernel later down the road.

So I just bought my FIRST car. My First Vehicle was my 2003 Jeep Grand Cherokee it had 78,000 miles in Oct 2008. I was 16. Well Friday I`m now 21 I went to a dealership and ending up Leaving with a BRAND new car! My Jeep had 188,127 miles on it at time of trade in. I just really been wanting something with Better Gas and I do LOVE the car! I got a decent deal a Brand new 2014 Kia Soul. But once I took my stuff out of my Jeep Ive just been emotional yes I know I`m not afraid to admit that about My Jeep when I left. Don`t get me wrong I LOVE my new Car its Amazing! But the memories I`ve had in my car mostly the last 4 years and Just being inside my Jeep I`m missing :/ If I could had the extra ,700 which I got on Trade in I`d just keep it and or buy it back from them to have for Hauling trash & When it Snows.

Anyone ever run into this issue? and How long did it take for things to get better?

As we all know android is open source everything in android can be customized. Miui and many other roms have proved this by making roms in which notification bars, menus etc are way so much customized and different from AOSP rom.

Why dont developers make ditto copy of iOS 7 custom rom with all the visuals animations same as like iOS 7 ?

They dont make it because its illegal? or no one got time to make this kind of rom?

My phone's software/kernel/partition (or something like that) is so messed up that my battery life sucks on all roms (even on roms I changed back to after receiving the problem that never had the problem), my phone seems to overheat, and reboots/freezes all the time. Battery stats says nothing really. My battery life is like TWO to THREE times LESS than before I flashed a bunch of ROM and kernels.

So basically I need something flashable that:

- Wipe all RE-BUILDABLE partitions COMPLETELY (and then rebuilds them) and/or gives cleans all partitions
- Formats and cleans everything on the phone (in a way it doesn't break any default features of the phone)
- Fixes any kernel bugs/glitches that retain after flashing
- Fixes all modem issues (like that flashable modem fix I saw but incorporated with everything above)
- Sets everything to default settings
- COMPLETELY and SAFELY removes Wanam and XPOSED framework out of the phone (I think it is causing me problems)

Basically, I think I broke something and want to completely fix the issue, so I can SUPER clean flash a KitKat rom and not have uncommon issues that the ROM does not have (I'm currently on 4.3)

[Q] is there any way to install wifi fix for DN3 ROM with new Download Mode? topic

I've been using DN3 V.3.2.1 on my N7100 (Galaxy Note 2) for some time, and noticed that the wifi (along with portable hotspot) didn't work. There's this wifi fix to install via odin to fix the problem.
The thing is, before DN3, I've flashed stock 4.3 N7100XXUENA1, without knowing that it comes with new bootloader. The new download mode restrict any rom installation except the stock 4.3 (though recovery and root installations is possible, dunno why) with an error : UNSUPPORTED VERSION

EDIT : The wifi works, but if I toggle portable hotspot, the hotspot can't be turned on and then when I try toggling wifi, it can't be turned on too. The only workaround is to reboot the phone to make the wifi work.

Is there any way to fix this? Since my main internet source is from my phone so portable hotspot is a must. Thank you and sorry if this has been asked before. :rolleyes:

[GUIDE] FIX: There is no PIT Partition topic

This is a guide for those who are experiencing the problem 'There is no Pit Partition' while flashing with Odin. This problem may be caused because of a faulty USB/micro USB port, USB cable which results in connection problems during flashing. So first of all one should understand this process is Extremely Risky and should proceed only if its that much necessary.

For this process what you need is a .PIT file for Galaxy Grand Duos i9082 and the original STOCK firmware. PIT (Partition Information Table) files provide information about where each partitions are to be flashed, so an improper PIT file will brick your phone permanently.

PIT file for Samsung Galaxy Grand Duos is provided in the attachment, and extract the .pit from the rar.

Follow these steps :

1. Run Odin with Administrator Privileges. Hope everyone is familiar with using Odin or See this
2.Connect your Galaxy Grand Duos I9082 inn Download Mode (HOLD Volume Down+Home Button+Power) and see phone gets detected by Odin.
3. Click on the PIT Button in Odin and select the .pit file you have downloaded.
4. Click on PDA, and Browse for the original Stock Firmware File of Samsung Galaxy Grand I9082.
5. Ensure that The Checkboxes Auto Reboot, Re-Partition, F. Reset Time are checked.

6. Now Click Start
7. Wait for the process to complete, keep the phone untouched until you see PASS.
8. Switch ON the phone and Play!!

Is there any way to fix the Auto-rotate delay topic

I don't think that this is an issue of only mine tablet, because I watched dozens of YouTube reviews and hands-ons and it seems that this is a common feature. Is there any way to boost the time required for the tablet to rotate the screen? It's not quite a big problem but I find it really irritating... Maybe some build.prop tweak or a xpsosed mod?

I was wondering if there are any build.prop tweaks by Moterola in the Moto X to help optimize the battery. I recently flashed this onto my Moto X http://forum.xda-developers.com/show....php?t=2360670, which changes the build.prop, but I've noticed a slight decrease in battery life. I've also installed a couple of other roote apps so I just want to make sure that this wasn't the culprit. Thanks!

Is there any launcher which supports Icon Shadow? topic

Hi, I have been a Nova Prime user for very long now, but as I change wallpapers almost every other day and I have a huge collection of white background wallpapers it's really hard and sometimes impossible to notice the icon labels. Because the icon labellings are white and the background of the set wallpaper is white too. So I am looking for a launcher which would support icon shadow, or icon label shadow, you know what I mean, something which will go in contrast of my set wallpaper.
Is there any launcher like that? I don't really want a bloated launcher as Go or else, like Nova or Apex would be great.

My Name is Misaki, This is Probably my 4th Post in Total, I Just Recently Bought my Samsung Galaxy SIII (GT-I9300) [2 Weeks ago]
It came with the Android 4.1.x Firmware and then I decided to Update it to the Latest Android 4.3 and The Look is Amazing!!

But as I wanted to Connect to my Wi-Fi router after heading out like 5 Meters away from the Router It says Wi-Fi Unstable! :(
Yet on my Previous Firm even 30 Meters away I would have 2 Bars on the Wi-Fi Icon at Full 128 kb/s...

The Annoying Part is when I'm Downloading a File Before I know it, it would have switched to my Mobile Data and Taking All my Money!
And Yes I switched off the "Auto network Switch" and Now whenever I'm Downloading a File that does not have resume Support I Have to
Restart the Whole Process!!! :( :(

I Have Tried Searching for a Solution to This Problem but with no Avail.....
I Beg of You!!! :( Please is there any Patch to fix this Problem?? :( :(
