Quick window apps with quick window case topic

Is there a way to customize which apps appear in the quick window when the case is closed? I want to change the music app to use power amp instead of the default music player. Also is there a way to check texts via the quick window instead of owning the cover?

Quick memo doesn't work-I've noticed that files quick memo in folder system-app is missing. Could anyone provide me files (stock JB) or help solving a problem?

update: I've found files quickmemo in systemm-app, I ran all disabled services but problem is nor solving, I have root, i don't want to do factory reset,

Hey! when ifirst got my nexus 5 (few months ago) i rooted it and instaled purity rom with trinity kernel and everything worked fine,
how ever like a month ago when i updated my kernel, when i launch supersu it saids no su binary installed please re root. at the time i didnt care so i just left it but know i would like to root it again (its weird if my phone is not rooted how do i still have purity rom and stuff like that)

anyway is there a way i can reroot without losing ANYTHING? i spent way to many hours setting up my nova launcher settings and stuff that that because im a theme whore lol
i haven't been keeping up with the latest stuff so let me know! thanks

PS im not using my own computer so if i reroot do i have to install all the adb drivers and stuff on this pc?

Sony divided notification and quick settings in 4.4, but it's not easy to use quick settings with one finger now.
I managed to show quick settings in notification tab!

1. Decompile SystemUI.apk

2. Open SystemUI.apk\res\layout\somc_tabs_status_bar_expan ded.xml, then edit

To make them smaller, open SystemUI.apk\res\values\dimens.xml and edit

Battery draining quick topic

It's been 3hr 32 mins since I have unplugged my phone from charging from 100 percent. So then it turns out that I have 80% and I have barely used my phone for text messages.

Hello developers
I read some post about notification bar modification...
At first, I just want to make my notification pull-down background transparent
But after some try with xblast tools.
I found that will never work for my phone.
my phone is HTC desire 200 TW
with stock Rom(Android 4.0.3 with HTC sense 4), rooted and unlocked but with no custom recovery flashed (cuz there's no custom recovery for my phone)
then I discovered that how to mod the notification bg by modding the systemui.apk in /system/app
but now I want the quick settings in the notification pull-down menu too
so I thought that maybe there's somehow can I port or use some "code" to add the quick settings button on my notification menu
(ps. I am using power toggle, but I think that's too slow and use too much memory, as my phone is low-end phone)

Battery drain is quick topic

Hi.

I've recently bought a SIM-free Galaxy S3 LTE (GT-i9305) smartphone online. I've since changed the battery to an "extended life" 2550mAh one.

I still find the battery draining quick. At 6am its fully charged then by 10pm its down to less than 10%. On my other thread i indicated my normal everyday routine and what i use my phone for. I have had numerous Android phones in the past so i know which ones to turn off, etc.

I understand Chrome can be a drain on the battery so i have disabeld it. I have heard of Knox affects it as well but i am not able to uninstall it. I have installed a battery-saving/monitoring app Greenify but i feel it doesn't do anything. Sync is also turned off and i put my phone on Airplane mode if im at work as the signal tends to be almost zero inside the building.

I also understand the battery tends to improve after a few cycles of charges.

Is there anything else i'm missing here?

[Q] Quick Unlock question topic

I'd just like to know if there is a way to unlock the boot, maybe via adb commands, without having to go through HTC Dev for a code, and thus, have my phone completely wiped in the process. This is a warranty replacement, so I know how to go about the processes, for the most part. I'd just hate to have my phone wiped. My searching isn't coming up with anything. Thank you.

My previous phone was the lg options g and the one thing I loved was LG's quick memo. Is there any chance of getting it ported to the nexus 5 or is there something similar?

Where is everyone cherrypicking Lockscreen Notifications from?

Quick question re: root/ta/bl etc on .290 topic

I'll try and keep this short and to the point.
Currently running stock .290 firmware and wanting to root it, preferably without flashing a pre-rooted firmware, and without losing DRM keys.

Now if i want to root it according to this thread, i will need to unlock the Bootloader first:
"You'll have to unlock the bootloader if you want to root the .290 firmware (Android 4.3)."
and then root it via this, before i can run TA Backup to backup my DRM keys

What I'm confused about though, is that once the Bootloader is unlocked I lose my DRM Keys (as per this thread, and many other comments)
"The TA partition contains all your DRM keys for the Bravia/X-Reality Engine.
The first time you mess with your phone by unlocking the bootloader, these DRM keys will be deleted!"

The general consensus with regards to the proper order is:

1. Root
2. TA backup
3. Unlock bootloader

However for .290 it seems to be:

1. Unlock bootloader
2. Root
3. TA backup (if there is even anything left to backup?)

I guess what I'm wondering is if there is anyway to root .290 directly without first unlocking the Bootloader (and thus losing my DRM Keys), and without flashing pre-rooted firmware?
Or do i have this completely wrong, and by unlocking my Bootloader first, I won't lose my DRM Keys (contrary to what the linked thread above says)?

[Q] [Request] Adding more "quick setting" buttons to stock camera. topic

Is there a way to modify any camera files or anything, to add more Quick settings buttons?
If someone not sure what are those, I've circled them on the attached screenshot.
Current 3 is just not enough if you know anything about photography and like to set camera manually.
I don't know why Samsung did not fit more in there are there're plenty of room to comfortably fit at least 2 more.
Ideally I'd like to squeeze 3 extra buttons in there (Exposure, Metering, WB) but I can live with 2 extras.
Any ideas anyone?
