[4.4] True Quick Settings topic

Sony divided notification and quick settings in 4.4, but it's not easy to use quick settings with one finger now.
I managed to show quick settings in notification tab!

1. Decompile SystemUI.apk

2. Open SystemUI.apk\res\layout\somc_tabs_status_bar_expan ded.xml, then edit

This will hide tabs.

3. Open SystemUI.apk\res\layout\somc_quick_settings_tab.xm l and copy LinearLayout
For example (.681),

4. Open SystemUI.apk\res\layout\somc_notifications_tab.xml and paste "3."'s LinearLayout above

5. Now quick settings should be shown on notification tab, but tiles are too big.
To make them smaller, open SystemUI.apk\res\values\dimens.xml and edit

to 50.0dip or something you like.

6. Save all and compile.

7. Install SystemUI.apk with adb or recovery, Done!

[Q] "Not Registered on network" but IMEI Exists and true topic

Hello,
i have updated my mobile to android 4.3 via odin, after update when i come to call any one it gives me "Not registered on network" but my IMEI exists and correct, so what is the reason and how could i fix that ?

it is for the EMIRATES but i live in EGYPT .. may this be the reason of the problem ??

should i try to install it ?? and if i did would there be any problems ???????

Signal Strength: .... (ok)
Network Type: Edge or HSDPA
Network stete: Out of service............................. ((i think this is the problem))

Good to be true? About Samsung Service Center. topic

Hi. Please forgive me for posting such nonsense. Last time i saw in a post that they actually bring their note 3 into Samsung Service Center and they did reset the knox counter 0x1 into 0x0. I got bored earlier then im thinking to talk or actually go in samsung service center here in the Philippines. The reason is simple. I want to return to 4.3 Jellybean.

Now I'm experiencing a mild form of information overload. Thanks
anyway :) My guess was wrong.

Now that I think of it, I've implemented a parser and evaluator once
with this kind of chaining, and it may well have short-circuited.

Great Feel
Great Fit 100% everything lines up nice.
No kickstand
Nice Look good colors to
Button feel really good.
Seems well protected
not easy to take off it feels like it's going to break a button

Kaycase with kickstand 14.95

Very slim for a case with a kickstand only added thickness is because of the kickstand.
Feels plasticy, kind of Cheap, but the grip with the ridges is nice.
Fit is good everything lines up,
Buttons are hard to press, that's because of the not so rubber case, like i said feels kind of plasticy
Kickstand is Good ,nothing that's going to fall apart, only one angle
It doesn't seem like it's well protected

i-Blason Armor Box 14.99
The case is definitely rugged and well built
Doesn't really fit 100% seems loose when put into the case
Buttons are nice and easy to press, it has a nice rubber feel when holding it
only 1 cut-out for the screen protector, So i used my own screen protector, and then the case didn't seem to fit at all.
Had to cut off the charging port protector, because of to much pressure on the plug.


Greatshield Legacy series 11.95
Well build nice rubber feel from hard case and soft rubber inside
Fit is 100% nice and tight
Screen protector has all cut-outs
Kickstand feels cheap like it could break off however it snaps back in pretty easy
good colors to choose from.
Really nice profile with kickstand and seems like it could take a pretty good drop.


The winner is the Greatshield number two is Spigen I couldn't stand having my phone in either Kaycase or i-blanson
Reason
The hard case wraps around to the front, it's 11.95 shipped, and when pulling off the case it doesn't really put any pressure on the buttons... Easy on/off for cleaning.
