Hello. As i work at a aluminum factory there is a lot of magnetic field around.

I owned a LG G2 for a while and the screen got into Quick View mode when I walked on to the factory floor. But you can turn the magnets off in the settings. My friend has Moto G with the same problem. But he can't turn his magnets off.

My question is obviously, can I turn off the magnets on the new HTC One? Thanks 😉

HI,

So, grabbed my TF300T one day and it would turn on, "no prob" its just out of charge, so charged it (led on the power button went green) went to turn it on and nothing! tried soft and hard resets and still nothing!

Does anyone have any ideas or is it just dead? its stock, just unlocked (form ASUS tool).

galaxy S2 doesn't turn on after set pit file topic

i tried to burn some roms on my sgs2 but each and everyone stucked on the "Boot.bin" or "nand write". i tried to burn it with a pit file i downloaded with the odin ("u1_02_20110310_emmc_EXT4") and it stucked on the "set partition". i took the battery off to start all-over and now it doesnt turn on in download mod. what to do???

This just happened three days ago, when I want to turn on my N7, I have to keep the button pressed for a long time, and when I tried charging it, the battery icon didn't appeared. Also, battery has been heating up by only watching YouTube videos. This has never happened before, and battery is also calibrated... Help!

I accidently screw up while I tried to flash a new rom when I do a wipe

now my phone has TWRP 2.7 recovery and empty system and no way to us adb to push it since I couldn't get adb to work

is there anyway to turn zip roms into a img and flash it through fastboot using

fastboot flash system *.img

I've tried a lot of methods but none seem to really worked. I managed to bring out the camera sound menu to appear in the camera app but when I tap on off, it doesnt respond and it still stays on.

Lg G2 Does not turn on topic

Hi,

I have a LG G2 D805 that doesn't turn on. What happened is that the digitizer broke, so i couln't turn off the phone. So i decided to open it to disconnect the battery and wait for my digitizer replacement to arrive.

When i disconnected the battery the phone turned off, so i reconnected the battery to test it out. The phone didn't turn on.
I connected the phone to the charger and the led flashed red. Again discconected the battery and i reconnected it and the phone turned on (this was with the charger connected and after many tries).

So i disconnected it again to test it out because this is really weird, and after many tries the phone turned on but with a message that the battery was not connected. Tried again, and the phone does not turn on at all, not even with the charger connected.

I think that the motherboard it is blocked in some way, I checked the the battery (it is fully charged) with a multimeter and it gives 4.3v of output.
I checked if the motherboard was getting any voltage, and it is getting 3.7v.

Hi guys,

I have a GTI9305 with a custom ROM, and today the bloody phone fell out of my pocket at the gym and I didn't even realise and I clipped the edge with the dumbbell.

The phone turns on and I can hear sounds when I unlock and lock it etc. but the screen will not come on, even though there is not one crack or dent on the device. Obviously something has gone seriously wrong but for Samsung to replace the device I need to remove the ROM and put a stock UK T-Mobile ROM on it.

Is there any way I am going to accomplish this without a functioning screen?

well, looks like i'm totally f*cked up.
i have samsung galaxy ace (GT-S5830), but I've installed wrong custom rom. it is for GT-S5830i :(

after I press reboot on CWM, it just not powered on anymore. I even test with power supply, when I press power, it does not react!
the other problem is, my volume down key somehow break, so i can't use download mode!
will USB JIG work? it is VERY HARD to search USB JTAG here.

Hi Everyone,
I haven't been on here for a while. I have a HTC one that has stopped working. It is flashing the home and back buttons when I try to power it up and the LED light isn't working when I plug it in.
I Have managed to mess around enough with it trying the bright light trick and all combinations of power + volume down/up buttons to try and get it to spring into life. Iv e tried these connected to a charger and connected to the laptop as well.
When I press the volume down button and hold it the LED came on and started to flash, then it became constant red. I've left it charging overnight and its now a constant green so fully charged or so it thinks. Ive since tried the combination of buttons again but when I do the led goes off.
Ive scoured the internet last night for anyone with my similar situation and found a lot of posts but none that match my situation exactly.
When I turn it on normally nothing happens apart from the on sound and the under device manager it says "HTC MTP Device".
I m going to make a quick vid and put it on youtube and add the link in here just in case anyone has been in this situation before and found a remedy.
Before anyone asks I don't know what rom was on it, or if it was unlocked bootloader. I bought it second hand and just started using it. It went off mid day with plenty of battery and it wasn't hot.

Any help would be most appreciated as im running out of ideas fast!. plus my fingers are sore...lol.

good morning everybody :

so last night, my phone worked normaly untel i unplaged it from computer, the screen wont turn back on, and got the red led (like it still in charge )
so i pushed the power button down for 10s and i thought that i just turned the phone off . but i actually killed my phone.

i pluggued it on wall charge all night. and today i tried several solutions and nothing:

1. held power button+down/up button for 10s and more then 10s


2. faced the light sensor to light and held power+down/up button


3. plugged unplugged to computer several times

the only thing i got is a sound when i plug it to computer, and adb devices wont list anything.

hi,,I was using my desire hd and i used it till it completely ran out of power and now it doesnt On and it doesnt charge,, if i plug the charger in it vibrates and after that nothing,,if i remove the battery and insert it back it still wouldnt on and keeps vibrating,,,so please help me my phone is like completely useless now so please can you help me.
I used an external battery charger and then used the charged battery but it still behaves the same i. e it vibrates when i press the power button.Kindly help.

Cant turn the screen on and stuck after screen off topic

My One X works properly for close to 2 years but last 2 weeks my phone start to have strange problem. It will randomly reboot and stuck at boot up or sometimes after screen off I cant wake it until I hard reset it by holding power button. And a lot of time it will just stuck during boot up with HTC logo and cant go into OS. I tried to return to stock by flashing nandroid backup, even reflash the hboot but the problem still there. I tried connect the phone with my pc and I can hear the usb unplug sound from pc after the screen off for some time. However, it is not always stuck in sleep, but often. Anyone have any idea what was wrong?

i have a friends L9 from T-mobile and i wanted me to try and look at it since he knows i love playing with phones. i got it and i tried to turn it on and see what was going on and nothing. i thought maybe it was the battery so i tried my external charger and charged it till the blue light was on. i put it back in the phone and nothing. i borrowed another l9 battery and still nothing but when i plug it into my pc it makes the noise like it know that something is plugged in. now my question is should i still try to get it to work or just say forget it and send it to the grave. thanks for any input.

Screens turn off by itself using Facebook topic

Hi guys.

My mother's XSP have some problem after updating to 4.3
Like before, there wasn't a single problem with screen when she was on 4.1, after updating it to 4.3 and screen can turn it off by itself without notification. Just turn off and that's all. She have to wait few seconds in order to make XSP respond to power button and turn on the screen.

Mostly this happen when using Facebook App, yes she's using Xperia with Facebook and Facebook messenger.
Apps are up to date, I've already try factory reset aka wipe data. Still problem occurs.

Anyone with the same problem or an idea how to fix it ?
Like I'm having same set up on my XL with 4.2.2 and no problem.

I don't know if that will help buyt she's using stock 4.3, her model is C5303 and her customization number is: 1273-0060.
Yes she have branded phone.

[Q] Device wont turn on after loosing all the battery topic

Hello. I am facing a serious problem. The device accidentaly lost all its battery when it was turned on and it turned off. I tried to charge it while it was off but it seems that it is not charging because of the unlocked bootloader (i unlocked it with freege. i think that the bootloader is mako geehrc). The result is that when I press the power button it shows the boot animated logo but then suddenly it shows the shut down animation logo and it turns off. :crying:

Also it turns on only when the charger is connected. Otherways, the power button does nothing. What I am going to do?
