Won't turn on but....... topic

i have a friends L9 from T-mobile and i wanted me to try and look at it since he knows i love playing with phones. i got it and i tried to turn it on and see what was going on and nothing. i thought maybe it was the battery so i tried my external charger and charged it till the blue light was on. i put it back in the phone and nothing. i borrowed another l9 battery and still nothing but when i plug it into my pc it makes the noise like it know that something is plugged in. now my question is should i still try to get it to work or just say forget it and send it to the grave. thanks for any input.

Tried to flash back to stock but.... topic

I needed to go back to stock to send back with fault.
I flashed rightly or wrongly I still don't know, xxubmj7
When it restarted I had no wifi also I can't get updates it just says it's been modified.
How do I fix wifi?
How do I fix the modified message?
UK phone, baseband is still uamf5 does that make a difference with wifi?
Just need to reflash?

Been looking at xda almost all day trying to find the right answers so sorry if I have missed it.

Nice idea, but... topic

If you run non-stock DPI, it will take a LOT of work to get widgets to display correctly.

I am running SlimKat 4.4.2 on Galaxy Note 2 with global DPI 245 and had offset widgets front the start, which wasn't surprising. Installed Xposed & App Settings module, set Themer to 320 DPI, rebooted to recovery, wiped cache & dalvik, launched Themer again, and still had graphical glitches:

I tinkered with the widget settings, and it appears they are positioned in absolute pixels from margins. It would be awesome if users had the option to set graphical elements in relative terms, ie, a percentage of the distance from margins/center.
