It almost already exists

what worries me about the above is it's surgically attached to the head.

This morning I was handed an artuino palette which is a student project not sure exactly what it does but it's a bit like an artists paint board with3 colour sensors rather than blobs of paint and a brush which is used to touch the sensors and this makes a sound and there's a microphone too.
Hope to see the student demo this at some point.

[Q] Best stable ROM for HD+ topic

Hi

Just received a Nook HD+ but after quickly browsing and playing for a while, I was not pleased with the stock rom, scrolls were not as smooth as I had seen on my nexus 4 for nexus 7 (maybe I am spoilt), I could notice some jitters and hope a custom ROM could fix this.

When I see in the Android development forum for this device, as usual the very many listing of the ROMs makes it difficult to identify which is the latest and the stable one (I suggest in future we should group the threads as - stable and non-stable which will help Noobs like me to jump into the act immediately).

Can somebody please advise me this bit of information as to which is the most latest custom rom that is stable, I am guessing it could the 10.1 build here [NookHD+] CM10.1 native emmc install Now part of CM Nightlies . Also to a step by step resource starting from rooting to the final flashing of the custom rom.

thanks
S

sw2 w/ custom bands is best looking sw of all topic

Who agrees? Who dosent? With a nice fossil leather band for 10 bucks. Better or worse than pebble steel? I think better. Pebble steel has more bezil on bottom side, looks tacky. Anyone but a metal band for sw2?

[Q] (AT&T) Best path to 4.4.2 from 4.4? topic

My setup: 4.4 ATT Moto X, Rooted (by way of latest jcase method), Locked bootloader, and I'm pretty sure write protection is off (though I don't remember how to check)

What I am wanting to know is how would and should I be able to get to 4.4.2, and get my root back (as I'm not confident any method will be able to "keep" my root safely without screwing something else up)? What's the best way based on my setup, and what files or tools would I need(stock 4.4 or 4.4.2 ROM, a new recovery image, etc)?

Since the root method I used hijacks the recovery, I suppose I technically don't have a functional one (other than it maintaining my root). Do I even need a custom recovery? I don't ever plan to flash anything other than basic stock firmware, though I may toy around with Xposed in the future. Also as a sidenote, im currently using ART instead of Dalvik. If any method or technique might conflict with that (other than Xposed), then let me know to the best of your knowledge.

[Q] what is the best rom in my case ? topic

Hi !
I'm new android and I started using galaxy tab 2 months ago . Many members advice to install a custom rom in order to get batter battery life wich is my biggest problem ! I saw many people talking about rom with kitkat version , some said that its a good one with good tweaks etc .. and other said that it has a big ram and battery usage .. so I felt so confused !
Another member advice me to install slim rom ! I actually found oldest version too like 4.2.x and 4.3.x but I'm still confused since I'm an amateur user .
After looking to many threads on this forum , I recognize that cm10.2 is the best one according to members .
All what I'm looking for is a rom with good battery life and good ram usage ! Any suggestion ?

The best car mount i ever had topic

Receive my car new car mount yesterday. When I found this car mount, I ever doubted that how good it will be with such low pricing .99. And I gave it a try. I mounted it to my car yesterday, super firm, in mentions that the suction can be washed in description. And I did it last night; it works as described and looks brand new, which surprised me. WOW! The seller is very considerable. They sent me a free suction cup pad, which ensure my phone, can be mounted on the dashboard. It was a great shopping experience on the Web. I've attached the suction cup pad here.

Zerolemon Batteries are Best topic

Best Android Devices topic

The one issue of a really simple-looking mobile phone is which front-on, it's not that simple casually notify which means around it is. All direction-finding keys are the main screen, hence the only indicators are classified as the deeply low-key earpiece speaker and top camera. It's a bit of a phone ninja.
Lacking any flashiness is usually clear inside its building, too. Although the Nexus 5 does not have a completely removable back – there is no battery access without hidden memory slot – this is simply not a unibody mobile phone. The rear plate as well as the plastic sides in the phone are two distinct bits, and there exists a clear seam among them.
We think about this makes the telephone easier to construct, and better to fix. However to pedantic sight, it's an issue that shows this phone wasn't constructed using a limitless price range.

[Q] What ROM for best audio quality? topic

Hi,
Just picked up a Galaxy Tab 2 7.0 to use as a hiqh quality audio player on the run with my headphones. This was the result of some heavy research and a few posts of praise by Supercurio himself:

Quote:

On Galaxy Tab 2 7.0, #WM1811 driver uses already the optimal analog mixer configuration I'm calling "Dac Direct" in #VoodooSound. Nice!

Quote:

Yup #GalaxySIII and #GalaxyTab 2 7.0 DAC both give lower distortions levels than FIIO E17 USB DAC. Measurements just confirmed perception.

So, now that hardware seem to be top notch I don't want to mess up the software part. :silly:

1. Will flashing a non-stock ROM mess up the "Dac Direct" configuration?
2. Any recommended ROM with full focus on audio quality through headphones?
3. Or will actually any AOSP KitKat ROM be able to deliver maximum audio quality?

I don't care about effects. Just want as good audio quality through the headphone jack as possible. I will most likely install the "maximum volume mod" (found in the forum) and Viper4Android on any rom used.

Any input is appreciated!
Thanks.

[Q] Best video player for the Xperia Play? topic

Hi there all.

This is a simple question: what's the best video player for the Xperia Play? I mean, for playing HD (720p, not 1080p) content.

I used a lot Moboplayer, but it slows a lot in HD videos, even installing the codecs... And the latest versions of Moboplayer take a while to start and it's a bit annoying...

What video player do you use for HD content? Please, if the recommendation you give needs some codec, say wich one (a direct link can be even more helpfull!).
