[Q] L7 audio record issue topic

The camera, and the audio recorder not working. Mostly white noise, and very low level sound. I've tried everything. Jb is worked fine, also the cm11 few month ago, but Cr3pt did something with the build, and the audio recording broked.
I am not right for 100%. If you are connect your headset , the audio recording is flawless. Under recording detached the headsett, still recording audio. But! Next time the same noisy crap will return, when you try to do some record with voice.

Does the Beats Audio app do anything to sharpen/improve/define the music for the Atrix HD? Is it worth installing? Can I use it on the CM 11 4.4.2 rom?

Hi again dude, i try to port Ac!d Audio Engine V8 from This thread to our Xperia M and the result is good :D

● Bass are deeper, crispier and more powerfull, with nice effect without distortion and crackling

INSTALLATION:

- FOR ICE CREAM BUBBLE V3 USER:

Flash the ROM again without select Ac!d sound mod, wipe cache partition, wipe dalvik cache, flash Ac!d, wipe dalvik again then reboot

- FOR STOCK ROM USER:

Wipe cache partition, wipe dalvik cache, flash Ac!d, reboot and enjoy

- Open Settings, select Clear Audio

- Make a widget and select equalizer from widget for Higher sound and Bass

[Q] What ROM for best audio quality? topic

Hi,
Just picked up a Galaxy Tab 2 7.0 to use as a hiqh quality audio player on the run with my headphones. This was the result of some heavy research and a few posts of praise by Supercurio himself:

2. Any recommended ROM with full focus on audio quality through headphones?
3. Or will actually any AOSP KitKat ROM be able to deliver maximum audio quality?

I don't care about effects. Just want as good audio quality through the headphone jack as possible. I will most likely install the "maximum volume mod" (found in the forum) and Viper4Android on any rom used.

Hello everyone.
I recently rooted my phone and flashed cyanogenmod 11 nightlies. Everything is working pretty well but there's this : audio is not working when recording a video neither than audio during video hangouts.
Tried four nightlies and no evolution.
I have not found any post on that subject. Is this a known bug or am I the only one who experienced it ?

Android car app and audio topic

Hi,

Strange question and wasn't sure where to post it but here goes. I connect my HTC one to the official car dock and when I get a call I have to turn my speaker phone on every time. The questions are

- Can I always answer calls using speaker phone as default when docked?
- Alternatively can I get the sound through the headphone jack as I plug a normal 3.5mm jack in to the phone from the car. I still want to keep the mic through the actual phone.
- Is there a 3.5 cable that the connector is a U shape? I want the cable to go back on it self to keep everything tidy.

Audio just stops topic

I've had my Tab Pro 8.4 for a few weeks and playing audio with the screen off has been no problem until now. After about 1 minute after turning the screen off the music pauses for no reason I can discern. I've tried with Poweamp, my usual music player, and stock music players and all do the same thing (I think stock players automatically pause when the screen is off) . It started happening after installing Wanam Exposed and the Xposed framework. I have since uninstalled both of them but the problem remains. Anyone able to help? Thanks.

Headset Mic Not Recording Audio (working only during call) topic

I have Yajnab's CM 10.2 Rom installed. This problem was not there on the stock 2.3.4.

External mic not working for audio recording purpose but working for calling purpose only.

Symptoms:
1) Headset mic working for calling purpose only.
2) Audio stops working after recording from any audio recording app , i have to unplug and plug the earphones .
3) Tried SoundAbout app to forcefully route audio to headset but not working.

Audio Quality topic

Having some issues regarding audio quality. over 92% of my phone's use goes to listening to music through headphones. ALL my past phones have all been HTC running PowerAmp and i have been happy. Unfortunately the audio quality in my Samsung is whack. i changed my mixer settings to get it to be a bit louder at least but when it comes to applying any sort of EQ, the quality is severely damaged. I can't really touch the PowerAmp EQ without bass distortion. i Also tried applying the MusicFX tweak but that only worked once upon enabling. Disabling broke it. and it didn't really work great anyway.

Can anyone shed some light on this? Is there a mod for KitKat that is worth checking out?

[Q] Bluetooth Audio Issues topic

I have this strange issue when it comes to Bluetooth with my N5...

The audio works fine on AUX and that is not an issue. The issue is that when I play music through Bluetooth it sounds really crappy, and all the high frequencies are very distorted.
It sounds perfect with CM11 and ElementalX kernel, but I want to use PA with franco.kernel, as I get much better battery life and performance, plus there are more features that I like in PA.

From this, I have worked out that it's a problem with AOSP, as CM is CM based and PA is AOSP based.

Can anyone suggest a solution? I've tried installing Viper4Android and although the sound is amazing with AUX, it is still piss poor with A2DP.

Any solutions would be greatly appreciated. I might even buy you a beer! :good:

I've been using viperone Rom for about a week...I realized one day when I make a call there is no audio on speakerphone or jus regular speaker....I have extensive experience...did reset wiped and all that good stuff...I thought maybe it was the phone...so I installed cyanogen mod...but the call audio works fine...so I figured that I fixed it by resetting and installing a diff rom...so I install viperone Rom once again...and I have the same problem...what the hell is going on...and I kno I can't be the only one, but I don't see any other topics about this...please help

I am having about 2-3 seconds of no audio when using my Bose soundlink mini with my Surface 2 Pro and watching videos. I have tried re-pairing the device as well as uninstalling the drivers from device manager and reinstalling them to no avail. Any ideas? Thanks.

[Q] Crackling headset audio after root?!? topic

I've been using an 18 ohm Klipsch headset for a long time on my S4, but recently after rooting it, I started getting the crackling audio issue. I've confirmed that the headset still works fine on other devices and it worked fine before on my S4. I tried another 18 ohm headset and it has the same problem. Cheap headphones don't have the problem.... go figure...

I'm not sure if the timing of root was just a coincidence or not. It has Android 4.2.2; Build number is JDQ39.I337UCUAMDL.

Could rooting have done anything to affect the audio?

Is there anything I can try to fix it?
